Game Thread | 2020-21 Season | Game #49 | Cavs @ Heat | April 3, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good pass to Sexton by DG. Slam dunk!

These refs are garbage as fuck. This dumb bitch threw DG out the game for punching the ball.

Warranted technical, and the game is over, but officials sure do seem to have a quick trigger on ejections this season.

The NBA is weak. A technical, yes, but to get ejected for showing emotions is stupid as hell.

The NBA will be unbearable in the next 5 years.

As exciting this team was to start the year, they are just so tough to watch now.

Thing is they haven't been able to score the ball the entire season. Including to start the year.

Remove Nance and Allen and trade away McGee for a bum, and what they were doing earlier to win games isn't possible anymore.

Good for Garland; showing some emotion. Probably as a result of how tough Miami makes on opposing offenses to score.

Strong move and finish by Okoro

another double digit loss, go team

At least Okoro broke his game high with 17 points.

Team fought hard; too many shots didn’t go down and we’re just overmatched athletically.

Thing is with the way the roster is now, how can I fairly judge Altman?

Because now the team is set up to lose. They aren't supposed to win with front court rotation of Love for 20 minutes, Dean Wade, Hartenstein, and Taurean Prince.

This is like what Houston was running before Wood came back. It can't win.

So now do I not hold Altman accountable? Is that the point?

Same can be said about JBB. I think for those two games that Cedi and Windler sat, Koby allowed JBB to use whoever he wanted. JBB probably realize that he would be held accountable if he got to pick the amount of minutes players got and was perfectly willing to go back to the prior arrangements to save his job.

It almost feels a little too convenient.

Trade McGee RIGHT as both Allen and Nance go down.

I dunno. It REALLY works out for Altman, though. A nice excuse.

I think Koby knows that this roster lacks top level talent. If he chases a playoff spot this year, he is basically setting himself to get fired next season. A mid teens pick would probably just add another role player to this team full of role players.
