Getting an actual, capable back-up PG has helped too, I Think. So even when Garland is out Sexton isn't forced to be the guy initiating the offense every time down the court like he was before.
Man I'd love to get TJ McConnell this summer.

He's flashed it before, and his efficiency numbers have always been good off the ball. It seems like they're making it a point of emphasis now, and it's about time.Literally out of nowhere.
Playing w/o the ball and knowing how to get open is a lost art in the NBA and basketball in general.
Having good players who know how to do it and want to do it can honestly change the course of your team instantly.
If sexton becomes willing to do this every night then it completely changes the outlook and how he and Garland can coexist.
He looked just like this against Miami too. But they lost the game by 15 so no one really noticed but man. This is a different player.
