Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hartenstein has some skills. Why did we get the pick in the Mcgee trade?

We will see about that.
Best draft in years. No point in screwing this up. This core ain't it.

I didn’t say we should trade out of the lottery.

We play the games on the schedule, with the healthy players we have, they compete and we live with the results.

And don’t worry, we’re still bad, there are still multi game losing streaks headed our way. And there are still flukey wins to come for other bad teams.

And then, as the past two lottos with the new format demonstrate, teams in the 6-10 range end up in the top 4 even more than teams with the worst four records. Could that change this year? It’s possible. Can we navigate into a spot that guaantees we’ll pick in the top 4? Nope.

I'd like to see the rules changes on draft order, both for the NBA and the NFL. The draft order for the playoff teams would stay the same. For the nonplayoff teams, for the first round only, reverse the order from what they do now: so, the team with the best record would get the number one pick, and so on with the worst team getting the 14th pick (or whatever it is -- the number of teams that don't make the playoffs). Then there would be no tanking. There would be incentive to win as many games as possible and fans wouldn't be torn.

The bad teams are bad year after year anyway and don't take advantage of those top draft picks. I think it would be fine for the "almost" playoff teams to to be fighting for that top pick. I don't think teams would lose on purpose to just miss making the playoffs -- making the playoffs is always the first goal of every team.

Sexton's made a few awesome, high-awareness passes that he NEVER would have made his first couple of seasons in the league. Zero turnovers tonight too. This OKC team without SGA / Dort / Horford is absolutely dreadful, but progress nonetheless.

This seems like a classic "the beatings will continue until moral improves" situations.

Nice drive and kick. Okoro for 3!!

The Cavs do need practice.

Cavs have a lot of winnable games rest of month....if they take two this weekend look out all you tank lovers....

Just looked up Moses Brown’s game log. Dude’s had some monster games. Averaging an efficient 8.5/8.3.

With his size and age, I’m a little surprise Portland gave up on him so quickly.

After giving up 61 points in the first half the Cavs got down to business and allowed only 14 in the 3rd quarter to take command of the game with an 18-point lead after three.

Love the 35 assists against only 7 turnovers. It's amazing how Love and Delly improve the passing and decrease the turnovers. Kevin is coming around gradually with 18 points and 11 rebounds in 23 minutes tonight. Prince had another big game off the bench with 22 points and 6 assists in 28 minutes.

Hartenstein is proving to be an excellent passer and rebounder. He had 12 boards and 6 assists off the bench.

The Thunder were without their best player in SGA as well as Al Horford and a couple other starters were out with injuries. They started a couple of 19-year-olds and obviously their bench was depleted. But they came out with energy and put up 61 points in the first half, helped by going 7-for-14 from the field. The Thunder lacked the quickness necessary to prevent Sexton and Garland blowing by them whenever they wanted. They combined for 48 points and Sexton shot 10 free throws as the Thunder had to foul him to prevent layups.

In the last three games Prince has 55 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists. He's making a statement that he should be the first one off the bench. JBB used only three bench players; Prince, Delly, and Hartenstein and they all played well.

Okoro is actually looking for open 3-point shots and shooting with confidence and no hesitation. He's 7-for-11 on 3's the last three games. When he puts one up I'm no longer saying, "Oh, noooo.....".
