Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #46 | Cavs @ Bulls | Jan. 19, 2022 | 8:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Joke matchups. Should attack them down low every damn time. No way they should win this.

Ayo will probably guard Garland. I want Okoro to attack Koby aggressively.

When Windler is in the game, Cavs should get tons of open 3s and we need to find him. Please play him with Garland. Please.

this should be a big night for Markk on offense. They will have to help on our bigs and Laurie should be left with a small defender and lots of space to operate. With the Bulls giving up on him, I'd assume he's going to come out with a little extra motivation as well.

That is why the Cavs need a shooter at the 2 tonight. You want our bigs to have room to operate and kick out.

Marky has hit 13 of his last 29 attempts from deep, or 44.8%. He'll be guarded by McKinnie (6'7") or Donsunmu (6'5"). He should be able to get good shots both in the paint and outside the arc.

I expect this Cavs team to smell blood in the water and go for the kill. They know what this game means for the standings.

The Bulls folded to a high effort team in the Grizz last game. The Cavs bring a similar level of effort and are going to wear down the Bulls. The Cavs are a team of high-energy players and Kevin Love and should win by 10+.

From John Hollinger's latest power ranking:

We’ve seen the Bulls’ defense come crashing back down to earth. Some of that has been player unavailability (injuries, protocols), but some of it is a regression to the mean that should have been expected. They’re 19th on the season in defensive rating, but they’re 27th over their last 15 games. Still, the offense seems to be unstoppable, and the good news on Zach LaVine’s injury keeps the vibe of this season positive. DeMar DeRozan could very much be the MVP, and having the Bulls back has been a lot of fun.

Give me a freakin' break with the Cavs at 11. Actually, let them stay underappreciated. It helps with the betting lines.

I always favored a 72 game season. Gets rid of 10 useless games.
Tonights questions:
1.Will Mobley's struggles continue on???
2.Will Garland finally crash on playmaking. His struggles shooting are well known. Might be tired legs.
3.Will Okoro burst for points now that he is getting back in the saddle again????
4.Will Osman have a big 3 point shooting night???
5.Will Rondo play????
6. Will Futuredome continue his tiresome nonsensical pessimism???

Full strength the Bulls should be a tough opponent with their length. I'm not sure if the mentality is there for them though.

Not playing the healthy team is a plus. Let's take the win & move on.

What??'ll i am very optimistic with Mobley. But he still is a 20 year old rook. Garland........You know what I think of third option on championship team. Okoro could be better if he improves his handles and shooting.

114-96 Cavs.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

I’ll still watch to see who gets the points.

Any way we can get Andre Knott back for sideline?
