Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Take the various missed individual plays out of the equation.

Just watch the offense. Even when we score, watch how we score.

Does it look easy? Do you see player movement? Do you see any semblance of any type of system?

It's all freelance almost all of the time.

How is that NOT coaching?

Like I said, even when the team got going early in the 3rd, it was all just total isolation basketball with LeVert dribbling around for 15 seconds and no one moving at all.

And its like that the whole game.

I really don't know how people watch this offense and come away thinking JBB is good at his job.

Lost this one on 3's - only went 7-for-31, or 22.6%. Even 10-for-31, which sucks, would have won this game.

If we had Allen we would have won, too.

JBB gave up on Love, Cedi, and Mobley and went with a small lineup in the second half and they almost pulled it off. Garland and LeVert on the floor together worked well. Stevens, Windler, and Markkanen rounded it out. Winder was a +8 in 12 minutes. Stevens was a +7. Mobley got in foul trouble and sat most of the second half.

Hard to believe that Garland, Love, Markkanen, and LeVert combined to shoot 4-for-26 on 3's. This should have been a Cavs win with just normal 3-point shooting.

LeVert was 2-for-6 from the free throw line and we lost by 4. Cedi was -8 in 6 minutes and he was done for the night. JBB seems to be running out of patience with him. If he has a bad first shift he doesn't get a second.

Does the coach miss shots right at the rim? Does the coach fumble away half the passes that would end up in easy dunks? Does the coach sail passes 3 feet over people's heads? Does the coach shoot 40% from the field?

I dunno, you tell me, you're the expert.

All the things you just explained are the overall result of a poorly structured offense, idiotic rotations, and running your best players deep into the ground with more minutes than they can physically handle.

When you get tired, you get sloppy..errant passes, bad misses.... When there is no structured movement, the offense gets stagnant...The coach cant even call 1 fucking decent ATO play a WEEK, much less a game.

Does none of that matter? So what coaching just doesnt matter then? Or are you saying JBB is doing everything right? You seem to be the expert on players playing bad. So if its just players, why even have coaches?

Or can you explain why its a good idea for a 3rd year guard who came into the league off of MCL surgery and didnt even get into basketball shape for a year and a half to lead the league in minutes at 40 a night in the second to last month of the season? The kid who had back problems that legitimately scared the organization? The future of the franchise along with Mobley and Allen? Were gonna ride him into the ground? We wont even play the other PG on the roster 12 minutes? 10? EIGHT????

Can you explain why an entirely new set and rhythm of rotations was gone to in game 74? Like totally new guys and lineups coming in at totally weird times? Can you explain why we cant beat a simple trap and refuse to call timeouts to counter them until we're too far down? Can you explain why we never challenge shit until we're down 5 with less than 7 seconds to go in a game we're 99% about to lose? Or is it just all on the players? Their coach takes no responsibility for the teams collapse, right? Just the players?

Missed the entire game. Why didn't Goodwin play a single second? Is he hurt? Who else was running pg since DG played a whopping 44 minutes? I have so many questions but I'll leave it there.

Nobody. We don't have a PG when he sits.

You know I hate the way our offense is run and I do blame JB. But this game was winnable if our guys make makeable shots, don't fumble away balls, and basically just screw up basketball plays, over and over and over again, when the Bulls were making the basic plays.

Yeah JB sucks. But our players simply weren't good tonight.

Hilariously. I don't even think the Nets forums are this hard on their team.

The Cavs lost because Garland, Love, Markkanen, and LeVert went 4-for-26 on 3's. It wasn't the coaching. JBB found a combination that brought the Cavs back from down 18 to within 3 points before the Bulls got a couple of buckets sandwiched around a stop to put it away in the final two minutes.

So many of those 3s aren't good threes.

The majority of 3s Love and Markennen take aren't good.

It's one pass to the wing and a hoist.

That's not good offense.

I do blame JB for a whole lot of things, every day in my comments. But tonight, JB doing what he did, this game was winnable. We. Didn't. Make. Plays. We. Normally. Make.

The purposely stand like 4 feet beyond the line so they cant be closely contested.

You van see the uncomfortable heaving motion in their shot because theyre shooting them from 5 feet further than theyre used to. Markannen basically usually stands on his tip does and jumps 6 inches in the air and his 3s look solid. Then he takes those heaves and his arms look like catapults and hes jumping super high.

With Love the ball just catapults out of his arms with no touch whatsoever. Line drives at the rim from 34 feet.

Of course they wont shoot them well. I totally agree with you here.
