I would bring Kenny Atkinson, but i'm afraid he may not be a player's coach like JBB is. This might fuck up the chemistry.

I will give JBB credit in that regard. Players seem to love him. There is good chemistry on the team.

JBB however, sucks as an actual basketball coach, so it's tough.

This team is a good coach away and a good SF away from being a good playoffs team??? Is that crazy?

Cedi getting only 17 minutes not enough when he's hot from outside. Both Allen and Evan got close to 40 minutes. No need to run the 7 footers into the ground.

The obvious thing to worry about is what happens to Windler when everyone comes back.

It is an indictment on JBB it took this many dudes being out to get Windler some burn when the team desperately needed shooting in the first place.


I hope against hope Kevin Love starts to be phased out of the rotation entirely.


And yes, I think Windler has more upside than Okoro.


But he can't stay healthy.

Also I was wishing I saw the same Darius Garland a lot of you guys were seeing...

...caught a glimpse tonight.

He showed off in the 1st half. Thsoe are the glimpses that make you have faith in him.

Koby will publish another letter after the game. HIm and JBB are interconnected. One goes down, the other follows. One stays, the other stays. Koby with the next letter will back up JBB.

First thing I reflexively do when I wake up is check twitter, which I only use for NBA and other Cleveland related sports tweets.
When I saw the Koby tweet on his official "from the desk of..." digital stationary I first thought it was something serious like a scandal or resignation. When I read what he actually wrote, I thought I was still asleep and dreaming. Just such an odd choice and looks amateur as hell.

A lot to like with this game.. Down Mark and Love, both of whom have played well so far, many stepped up..Sexton tried to lose it at the end. But on the whole had a good game, scoring 21 on twelve attempts.. Allen was just a beast, Garland found his triple we have been hearing about.. And Windler with 13..

And Mobley with the quiet double double..

I know we are facing a tough stretch with Mark and Love and Okoro out.. so we are prone to pull a boner now and then.. but hey. We beat another pretty good team .. Go cavs

Yes, a lot of underwhelming coaches in the NBA right now.

A lot of offenses look pretty bad to me. Heavy iso ball. But man, I want to take that leap and have rotations and gameplan I can relate with.

He's been decent coaching the first half of games. But once you get to the second half, it feels like all the positive momentum gets destroyed. We just let the other teams back in way too easily. To his credit, we've eeked out a few close games. But they shouldn't have been that close in the first place.

He just doesn't adjust in game. it's all fixed. nothing is dynamic.

Pretty much. I'd say assistant coach is the right role for him on a team that's hoping to do stuff. I'm not sure he's a championship winning coach without a LeBron like player at this point.
