Game Thread | 2022-23 Season | Game #2 | Cavs @ Bulls | Oct. 22, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mitchell is not better than Lebron. Lets not get crazy. Lebron is about to break the all time scoring record and scoring isnt his best attribute, Lebron is one of 3 players with a legit GOAT argument.

Mitchell might be more loyal than LeBron, he is easier to root for, and frankly a really fucking good, no great player. But not better than Lebron.
Mitchell at 26 and LeBron at 38 (in 2 months). There isn’t that much space between them… obviously a current comparison lacks context.

After two games the Cavs are shooting 47.5% on 3's. Not sustainable, but I'm hopeful the team improves from last year's 35.5%. Last year the Clippers led the league at 37.3%. The Cavs were middle of the pack percentagewise.

Love is 6-for-10. One benefit of him coming off the bench and playing limited minutes is his legs are not tired, which causes his 3-point shot to be short. He seems to be getting more air under his shot this year - in the past it had a tendency to be flat and hit the front of the rim.

Cedi is 5-for-9 and LeVert 5-for-8 from deep.

We're also shooting 53.1% from the field. A LOT of that is Mitchell. Not only is he shooting 55% but in two games he has 17 assists! He's creating a lot of easy buckets for his teammates. We have seven players averaging in double figures - and Garland is not one of them!

OK, six players. I won't count Lopez since he only played in one game.

Someone sould tell @Futuredome how many of our players have a WS/48 of .200+

According to him that's how you measure superstar lvl production. We stacked.

Its amazing to me that Lebron is still probably better than Mitchell. MItchell is pushing for a top 10 player in this league and a 38 year old player is better than him right now. Mitchell is on pace to be a hall of fame player and is 26 but a 38 year old is better.

It is also fucking hilarious how bad that roster is in LA, but that is for a different thread, lol

Neto better than Garland

Garland is on the Cavs and has no real haters here. You need to claim Neto is better than Kyrie, then you’ll get people seriously buying in
