Garland is quick and herky jerky but gets bothered by length, Mitchell on the other hand is built like a tank. Barnes/Anunoby/Caruso just bounce off of him.

I just realized: at 6 2 and 215 Mitchell is like Dwayne Wade at 6 4 220. Their styles are a little alike, in that both relied on athleticism and a powerful build coupled with aggressive drives and jump shots. Mitchell is better from 3 and a better passer.

Robin Lopez - really love his sky Captain Hook shot. He was perfect with 4 of those tonight with 12 points. He contributed on both sides of the floor off the bench which was needed.

Love 5 3s and 2 charges. Don’t know why he didn’t get to play much against Toronto and Atlanta at the playin last season. He makes things happen for this offense especially when we need spacing.

I think this forum is too harsh on Levert. I really like his playmaking, he played good D o and frustrated Derozan, made 3 key catch and shoot 3s. His midrange game will fall. But if he keeps continue to make catch and shoot 3s, he is going to be valuable for us.

Mobley got some nice shots on the offensive end. Would like to get him rebound more but liked some of his contested shots.

Cedi with plus 41 tonight. Him and Love together is a great pairing. As long as Cedi doesn’t do too much, he’s perfect.

You cannot just have Okoro in the corner all the time. It would be best for Okoro to come in late 1st quarter or start from the 2nd quarter and being able to play setting screens, and going back door. I am afraid we are going to lose his mentality and confidence.

Spider is awesome. Utah just could not get the players to get that team to succeed. He is going to be happy here.

Not sure which stat line is more incredible. Cedi’s +41 or Okoros’s -4 in a 32-point win?

Goodness, haven't been able to join a game day thread yet this year... Just wanna say:

Early in the game when DeRozan hit a jumper with Okoro guarding him, I got flashbacks to last year. Thank goodness LeVert was matched on Demar! Caris had a big time game and was one of the major keys to victory.

Donovan Mitchell... Damn! MVP level to start the year isn't half bad

A lot of good stuff in this Wine and Gold winner! Team is playing really well in these first two games.

The 2-0 Wiz are next.

Mitchell is better than Lebron.

Cedi is flash in the pan. There have been talks about his beard improvement, but it's been greatly exaggerated. I prefer his clean shaven look. He looks like a squirrel now.

Mobley has gotten stronger. Absorbed contact much better on both ends. Still not up to gamespeed. Will be huge for us.

Rolo is better than Allen. Rolo has a beer gut with black hair sticking out. Funny.


Cavs haaave to improve their screening. Comeon.

Obligatory JBB: he is mental. Dean has to play and we clearly need shooting at the 3. Diakite should be play.
