Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let me ask you something!!!! What is it with you and punctuation???? I'm not sure what to think!!!!! You seem to overkill your punctuation!!!! Do you talk like this?????
Actually no…..I just type fast and don’t really pay attention to the punctuation marks. Why? Does it bother you? Didn’t know we were in English Comp class. Was this better?
But I will try to slow down and be more aware of it from now on.

The stupid chain thing is literally a participation for Okoro at this point.

They give it to him if he has even a mildly productive game. No matter what anyone else does, if Okoro doesn't totally suck in over 20 minutes of game action, he gets the chain.

Just hilarious :chuckle::chuckle:

I don’t know if I’d take Belin or Blatt over him (shows how bad Cavs coaches have been) but I’d damn sure take Mike Brown

This is what I wanna say about David Blatt.

In year 1, goes to the Finals against a 67 win Warriors team and wins 2 games while missing both Irving and Love.

Then in year 2, gets fired mid-season while the team has literally the best record in the East and the 2nd best record in the NBA.

And yet he'll always be remembered as a bad coach. Guy has to have the highest winning percentage in NBA history for any coach who coached more than 1 season.

That's a guy who I always felt never got any sort of fair shake.

Garland isn't shooting the ball well but he's still playing a far more controlled game the last 3. Turnovers are way down, shot attempts are down, assists are starting to creep up, and he's generally not forcing nearly as much.

It's a process, but as long as he keeps coming to grips that he isn't gonna be the leading scorer anymore he can still be a very productive, very impactful player.

I do think it's bothered him a bit though, that he is no longer the guy who gets to take the big shots down the stretch. He only got one year of that role and now it's gone.

But I've definitely seen positive signs the last three games, even if he isn't shooting well.

He’s a fantastic coach, won the euro league with Tel Aviv with a huuuuge comeback against cska in the Semis, also won a bronze medal with Russia in the olympics who had no business being there.

He was great here, for me a measuring stick for what makes a good coach is getting the best out of what you have. I remember we had some injuries and this guy even had Dante Freakin Cunningham playing great ball for us. We were winning games with LBJ playing the fewest minutes of his career, and that during the period Lebron was starting to look older and tired, before that magical 2 week vacation in Miami that “revitalized” him (steroids)?

His downfall was he hated Kevin Love, thought he was a pussy (which he was) because Euro coaches don’t take shit, in Europe you play far less games so every game matters. So coaches demand a lot from their players because of the enormous pressure also put in him. Secondly Lebron doesn’t want to be coached, he was a yea man who does wtv he wants aka Ty Lue. As you said we took the Warriors to 6 games with freakin Delly Shump TT and Mozgov starting. That’s HORRIBLE spacing and we had no business even winning a game.

I think with Blatt we don’t even need 7 games at full strength in 2016 imo.

20-11 is nice

But having gotten lucky in so many close games - including 5-0 in OT, this team hasn’t played as well as its record. And hasn’t played as well at home as the home record.

I’ll take it though

we’ve also gotten lucky with other teams resting and having stars out with injuries, we’re not as good as our record imo

And then he got MS.

Lue is a championship coach because he is a fucking maestro with that clipboard and he has a way with connecting to the biggest stars with the biggest egos.

The man kept Kyrie/LeBron/Love together for a really great 3 year run where we won a title against the 73-9 Warriors.

And I called him A-Ty-O. He just consistently dialed up gold out of timeouts. He would have never in a million years inbounded a ball to Allen AFTER A TIMEOUT.

He would have had 1 big man inbounding, he would have put in Mitchell, Love as the screener Garland and honestly probably LeVert or Okoro for speed as an outlet. OR maybe Neto. But it would have been an entire play specifically designed to get the ball to his best shooters. Lue could almost ALWAYS get the ball to Kyrie late in games to ice them if he had a timeout.
He kept Kyrie/LeBron/Love together for the last 1.5 years of a 3-year run, before Kyrie forced his way out.

You are what your record is. Every other team faces what the Cavs face

In fairness people described Ty Lue the exact same way when he took over for Blatt. The game threads here hated him. Now he’s considered one of the best coaches in the league.

Not saying JBB is headed there lol he’s clearly not.

I still can’t get over that inbounds to Allen…
Lue had prime lebron. That is it. Back then lebron did what he wanted. Lue let lebron do what he wanted Lebron won the championship. Lue was along for the ride
