Don’t have a problem with him playing Stevens……but it’s ridiculous to have him on the floor at the same time as Okoro. Without those two on the floor it’s basically 5 on 3. Neither of them can throw the ball in the ocean from the beach

Try it sometime. On paper of course!! To be honest there's only one way to do it. Start one of them at 3 and substitute the other for him. Each play 24 minutes. No mixing and matching. No Cedi or LeVert at 3..... No substituting for how anybody is playing. It's not easy and it has very little to do with good or bad coaching.

Agreed, and one of Cedi/Levert should be out there with them, but unless *good* Cedi is rolling, you're talking about a very minor upgrade as far as spacing goes.

Once Rubio is back we can pretty much have Garland, Mitchell, and Rubio take all the guard minutes leaving Wade, LeVert, and Cedi to divvy up minutes at the 3. No need for Stevens or Okoro to be on the floor at all unless the outcome has been decided.

I don’t have a problem substituting one for the other but they should NEVER be on the floor together!

Best play of game was Okoro getting ball in the corner. Faked a 3, drove baseline, found an open Stevens in the other corner who proceeded to brick the wide open 3. They are a disaster when they play together. And JBB sometimes will give you the rare triple threat lineup of Stevens, Okoro and Cedi. I swear I have seen that at least a few times, but it could have just been a nightmare.

That move Okoro made should always be in the back of his (and Stevens) mind. Just because the defense is giving you the three ball look doesn’t mean you HAVE to take it! Put the ball to the floor and attack the basket!

And JA and Mobley need spend time after practice catching passes! These two fumble away more point blank passes than I have ever seen any big men do!
