Game Thread | Game #52 | Clippers @ Cavs | Jan. 29, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The load management is killing my interest in this league. And fast.

I normally side with today's guys when the NBA legends of the past shit on them about this and that and how they'd dominate them.

But this is one area they have the right to do it. The 82 game schedule didn't just start two years ago. It was worse 30 years ago with three games in three nights. No one was bitching then. There was no load management then.

Just reeks of entitlement and softness. People need to stop spending money to go to this shit.

I'd have more sympathy for the players if their desire to play fewer games was matched by an equal willingness to see their salaries reduced.

Well you could just take a look at the schedule and see the Clips played last night with Kawhi at 39 minutes and PG13 at 37 minutes. Also 3rd game and 4th night and resting thise two in these situations. Especially Kawhi, has been par for the course all season long

The Golden State gane was second night of a b2b with the first night an OT game against BOS in which the 4 starters who sat all played big minutes.

So I tend to think it lends more to scheduling coincidence and team specific situations behind any thing else

Those aren't the only two games it's happened this season.

For us and teams all across the league

If you want to present it as anything other than a wild conspiracy theory, do some contextual research based around not only all the times it’s happened with us as an opponent and an audit of the situation league wide.

I don't think you've done any research on this to be honest. Just another attempted gaslighting from MirO.

Cavs off to a good start against the undermanned Clippers. Up 11-4

Did Mobley call a timeout? The announcer said the Clippers did. That makes no sense.

Edit: Play-by-play shows the Cavs called the timeout.

I need Powell to get me a bunch of garbage time buckets in this blowout.

Garland has been defending at a high level for a decent stretch of games.

I'm loving that shit.

I'm already envisioning how we blow this lead
