I still expect to come back and win this game - Charlotte is so bad that losing to them at this point in their tank is almost unthinkable. But, beyond this game, we are not playing good basketball since the All-Star break. This is getting concerning

Well, that was an unsatisfying half of basketball. I'm glad we're only down 7.

Mobley and Mitchell both with 3 fouls, completely disrupted our rotations by getting in foul trouble.

Garland played well, with 19-4-1. It's bad he only had 1 assist. I though he should have passed it to Donovan more.

Lopez, with 2-5-0 and 2 blocks has filled in well for Mobley's backup.

We aren't rattled. We won't give up. We know what to do in the 2nd half.

My prediction: Cavs lead after 3 and win this game by at least 10.

I still expect to come back and win this game - Charlotte is so bad that losing to them at this point in their tank is almost unthinkable. But, beyond this game, we are not playing good basketball since the All-Star break. This is getting concerning

The ball isn't popping. The extra pass 3 point attempts aren't going in. But it's really hard to zip the ball around when we play into what the defense is giving us with Okoro and Stevens out there. It's not NBA basketball you want today.

With Mobley only able to play 15 minutes because of the foul timing and no Allen available at all, I kind of get Lopez getting some minutes as a no Mobley/no Allen lineup is going to just get diced in the paint and Lopez at lest provided some resistance, shot alterations, and two blocks.

My biggest gripe is not the lack of Wade but the lack of Danny Green. Surely Koby did not sign him to be a Dahntay Jones. I know he's still coming back off his injury but I'd have though he'd get more minutes.

Beyond that, I see this game as more of:
-Mitchell not hitting his threes
-No Allen affecting our D
-Lots of missed bunnies at the rim(like that last sequence with about 40 seconds left)
-Mobley kinda getting punched a bit
-taking a team lightly on the road

That being said, I know that your issues with JBB extend well beyond this game or any individual game and that is fair and not something I'm trying to persuade you off of.

That last 4 minutes was just a string of terrible decision making. Rubio has taken some bad shots. Mitchell has taken some bad shots. Garland trying a behind the back bass to Robin Lopez in traffic? He's never gonna catch that.

You talking about that multiple missed bunnies sequence with about 30-40 seconds left? We got majorly bailed out by the Hornets subsequently turning the ball over.

But our 3 consecutive misses at the rim were comically bad.

Remember back in November when we could use the “young team” excuse and we had issues like: juvenile inbounding, lots of turnovers, missing FT’s, allowing teams to shoot high 3 pt % and coming out flat in 1st and 3rd quarters?

Sure glad we got that all straightened out in March

It’s asinine unless he’s hurt. Let’s assume he’s Okoro/Stevens level bad as a shooter (he’s not) How can we not use a tall, mobile, versatile, plus defender?

What Charlotte is doing is reasonably sustainable. Cavs are expending alot of energy on defense to keep up. They can't defend like that the whole game.. and Charlotte is already leading.
