Harrington to Browns?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What would you think of McNair in an orange helmet?

If the Browns were one player, a quaterback, away than I would be all for it. But all that would do is push back the development of Frye.

Which is going to take forever anyways, Id be all for it.

Hey since you no everything that will happen before it does, like this Frye thing, could you tell me what the winning lotto tickets are for next week. Id appreciate.

If seeing the numbers were as easy as seeing his lack of talent, I could.

If you choose to be blind, that is you. He was a third round pick, obviously he was lacking something as a QB.

At best, we want him to be a poor mans Bernie Kosar. But he has to show he has the accuracy and the mental capacity to do that.....his games last year was an early indicator that he does not have that. He has a good work ethic and good pocket presence along with the ability to move outside of the pocket for positive yards. But at some point, his noodle arm and horrible accuracy will be brought into the equation and when that does, what will we say??

He had an off-season to try to improve that. Let's see what he does. You might be dissapointed, I won't. I dont have any expectations of him, as a third round QB, I know very few ever become good NFL starters.

Your bringing a stick to a sword fight.

What round was Brady drafted in??????????????????????

You swear that you cant improve on accuracy, football is no different than basketball bro. If he busts his ass he can as accurate as the next quaterback.

You also swear that you have to be a first round draft pick to be a good quaterback, you should know of all of the quaterbacks that have been busts.

Hell look at what Jeff Garcia did.

When did I ever swear either of those two?

Oh, that's right. I didnt.

I never even mentioned the first round until I just said it right there.

For someone that bags on rlaw a lot, your grammar and reading capabilities are about on par with his.

I said he is working on his accuracy and we will see how it turns out, i said VERY FEW third rounders turn out to be good QBs.

What round was Peyton drafted? What's your point? There are sleepers everywhere, it happens.

But how often??

Than why the hell would you bring up what round he was drafted in bro?????

I forget a couple of letters, big deal. I can care less if a word is off by a letter.

You said "he was a third round draft pick, obvisouly he was missing something"

Yeah you didnt say the word "swear" but you know what I mean, dont back out of it like a coward.

At best he can be a poor mans Bernie, you dont know that. You think he cant be like Berinie because he cant be as accurate. I can read between the lines bro, you cant admit that your wrong, the only thing Fyre doesnt have that Kosar had is accuracy.

Stop making assumptions.

I'm really suprised that they didn't take a QB at all in the draft. I can see that trading up for Gimpy arm or Cutler wasn't worth it in the first. But I would have thought they would have given someone likeOmar Jacobs a look in the 5th or Reggie McNeal a look in the 6th. They must have had them poorly rated on their board, which i could potentially see. Maybe neither one pans out at all, but they both have some upside, surely enough to warrant a late round pick.

There needs to be someone who gets the ball to Braylon as much as possible, that kid is scary good. I agree with A Mac on Frye, I don't think he has what it takes. As long as he's the Browns starter I don't see them doing much more than 9-7.

How am I wrong?? Name me all the third round QBs that have been drafted in the last five years then tell me how many of them were successfull. That's the deal, it's a fact. Star QBs arent made in the third round.

Im not being a coward, I am stating the obvious. Frye wasnt a great college QB. A lot of teams did not think he had potential to be a good QB. Thats probably why every team passed him TWICE, some three times, before he fell us before one of the last picks on the first day.

Charlie has the work ethic to eventually learn how to be a better pocket passer. He will never be as smart as Bernie because Bernie just had "it". He knew what it took to be a QB, he played at the highest of every level of football and excelled. Frye hasnt. Frye wasnt successfull in college, don't know much about his HS days but Willard isnt exactly a power house.

Now, Frye has small hands so one thing he will never be able to develope is the velocity that Bernie possessed. He will never be able to zip it into tight spots like Bernie could. Frye can develope a better touch and learn to be more accurate, but certain intangiables he will never have.

Well lets hope both of you are wrong.

If Frye doesnt work out than Im all for going after a veteran proven quarterback, Brees still might be a possibility since he signed a one year deal.

Im not all for waiting until your rookie becomes good thing, most of the time it doesnt work.

Brees signed a long term deal, however, he has a 12 million dollar roster bonus so I expect to see him on the market again next year IF he doesnt perform to pro bowl level.

Its a long term deal that is actually a one year deal, kinda funny.
