He’s a backup C, but he’s truly unplayable. I guess most backup C’s are really horrible. But he’s a 40% FT shooter lol.
That's simply not true. He hasn't managed to shoot 40% from the line since the 2017-18 college season.

Can he play sf?
But can he shoot the three ball?
Jokes aside, I don’t see the downside here. The Cavs do need a backup C (or two?) … and it’s a non-guaranteed deal. Bring him to camp, and if he doesn’t work out, there’s nothing keeping him here.
Tacko-Allen-Mobley-Markkanen-Simmons.Somebody’s gonna suggest running a Tacko-Allen-Mobley-Markkanen lineup out there, aren’t they?
No BS, I had the same thought. What a sight that would be.I kinda want to see Isaiah Thomas brought back so we can trot out:
IT
Mobley
Lauri
JA
Tacko
What’d Lauri ever do to you to deserve that comp? Nobody, but nobody, should be compared to that shithole of a building.I don't think we have enough skyscrapers in Cleveland to rep this team, anymore...
Key Building = Tacko
Terminal Tower = Evan
Huntington Building = JA
Justice Building (?) = Lauri
I mean it’s a two-way contract so I don’t understand the bashing here. He can compete against Kabengele for the reserve center spot and like Randolph says he has immense size and is still youngish so why not take a chance on a two way contract?
If it works out, great! If not who cares? Players aren’t exactly lining up to sign 2 way contracts with Cleveland so when you get an opportunity to sign someone that MAYBE has some long term upside then I say — give em a shot.
