I pray Luke gets through this without any back pain. I can't wait to see him in the regular season - this will be good run for him.

Didn't know we signed Lucas III.

Nice they're showing 2 of the 6 games, albeit tape delayed. Sucks we gotta wait till the 16th...

Looks like a nice lineup. All eyes on Luke.

I like seeing James Thomas on this roster. He didn't really get to play at all when he signed that 10-day with us.

I think the starting lineup would look like this:
PG-Gilchrist
SG-Azubuike
SF-LJax
PF-Freije
C-Marty

A few interesting names on the roster. English has some talent and I think was briefly with the Pacers. Oyedeji is a big physical PF who's been with a couple of NBA teams. J. Thomas is a player that's good to take a closer look at. Loncar is a decent European prospect who had a good chance to get drafted in this past draft. Lucas III is a good pickup since he does have talent although he's small.
We really shouldn't get overly excited about most of these players. None are an answer for the Cavs are are likely to never survive even training camp.

Interesting to see Kenny Natt is coaching the team. I thought he was gone.

i like thomas- reminds me a bit of haslem--

didn't he have 10+ boards against us, when we played portland ?

2 names that I love to see on that roster:

Stepp and Lucas III

the Cavs summer roster has some very interesting players i am going to watch. one is Azbuicke. he is very athletic and comes from a program in Kentucky where they teach defense.

should be an interesting battle between Gilchrist and Lucas at PG. can't remeber is Stepp a PG too?

With Cleveland having so many holes to fill there is every chance players like Gilchrist, Lucas, Oyedeji and Thomas can make the final roster. There is definately oppotunities for any talented point guard, as there is for a bruising big man. This is one of the few times we may have to watch closely as ther could be a future Cavalier or two come out.

Welcome over hoops24.

It's all about Luke and Gilchrist.

I would be surprised if Gilchrist isn't on our opening day roster considering we only have Snow as our PG right now

Kenny Natt is still with the team? I thought Brown was getting his own assistants

Lets just hope Luke Jackson or Marty Vicious dont miss any open looks off a Gilchrist feed!

Im loving Lucas and Gilchrist, we will def keep one of these two guys.

We are in action in just 2 days. For piece of mind I hope Luke puts in a solid showing and stands out from the crowd. Gilchrist and Lucas III have a great oppotunity, so a big game from either will make feel a little more comfortable about our point guard situation. As for Marty Vicious, lets hope for something a little more promising then Diop produced year after year in these leagues.
