i thought lucas was going lottery by his college game man dude was all that and a bag a chips...(fresh prince of bel air phrase)

Lucas had a nice college career. He put OSU on his back in a couple of games.

He has a lot of talent, but he is a tweener. He doesnt have a real position and i dont think anybody believes he can translate his game to a NBA 1.

Blake Stepp is one that might show some good flashes if he gets some good PT. He was a stud at Gonzaga: 18 pts 7 assists his senior year there. Unfortunately, Gonzaga has only shown a few gems out of their program: John Stockton in '84 and Dickau in '02

If I had to guess...

PG: John Gilchrist
SG: Kelenna Azubukie
SF: Luke Jackson
PF: James Thomas
C: Martynas Andriuskevicius

Gilchrist and Thomas have the best chances to make the 14 man roster in my opinion.

gilchrest is more like a standard point in the league - size and speed.

lucas is like a straight up point but creates problems like earl boykins.

if we don't sign an exp. point guard like the lituanian or daniels we go with gilchrest. if we do sign one of them we go with lucas as a third point.

gilchrest might be a headcase without the playing time.

i dont' think we could go wrong with lucas in any case. he knows how to play he's just small 5'10 i think. he could step on the floor right know and play well. gilchrest has the ability to and thinks he can step on the floor right now.

5 John Gilchrist
6 Blake Stepp
8 John Lucas III

wow, Stepp was a fantastic college player, if he commits himself to the team, i could see him doing great things for the cavs. same goes for Lucas.

im real excited about Lucas.. He is a good player and could do real good. hopefully..

also what channel is these games on? NBA TV? if so how do i get NBA TV? do i just call Comcast and tell em? I use to have a free trial but than its over.. so should i call them?

You might have to subscribe to a sports package sheed. I have Directv, and subscribe to the sports package they have - Golf channel, OLN, NBA, NFL Network, etc (like 30 channels) and pay extra for it. Haven't had "cable" television in a while, so not sure how they structure their programming. Give them a call - probably a premium package....

Well, I don't know if Comcast is like Time Warner but.....

If you take your cable box in and say its torqued in some fashion they give you a new box and 30 days of all the channels free.

What do you mean by "box"??? :D :chuckles:

Time Warner is def not like that, they have the worst service in the world.

You would be lucky to get them out there in the first place.

I dont get NBATV either so I wont catch these games.
