How do you cook it?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just so simple to make in the rice cooker. I've not tried but I've heard mushrooms in the cooker come out really well too.

I was out of brandy - like every state outside of Wisconsin - so I finished the caramelized onions with a small drizzle of honey. It was sweet but less complex. Bacon wrapped dogs needs a little sweetness to counter the salt. Avocado is a must for me to tie it all together.

Sonoran dogs are huge in California, no idea if people wrap their dogs in bacon and put taco toppings on them in Ohio. It's an absolute staple after the bars close out here.

The Trader Joe's split turkey breast has always tempted me. Gave it a go today.

Used a Kinder Buttery Poultry rub overnight, baked at 425 for 20 minutes then dropped it to 350 for an hour.

Also doing a mirepoix and saffron soup with the drippings.

Nice!

Perfect coloring on the roast!

Rubs are outstanding for poultry.

Made some English muffins with my sourdough starter and also pickled some jalapeños and a few wax peppers fresh from the garden today.

Baked a couple sourdough loaves too.

Made a beef on weck inspired pizza.

Chuck roast I made a few days ago. I'm really good at Chuck roasts imo. Some of my secrets are using Better than Bouillon instead of salt, and using angostura bitters. Also added caraway seeds this time.

Dough is 00 mixed with a bit of rye and caraway seeds

Very thin layer of mayo, then mozz/provolone/havarti, the beef and hot banana peppers, then Parm. Seasoned with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, Tony C's and some more caraway seeds. Oh and I blended some sun dried tomatoes and sprinkled those on.

Made pizza on foil on a peel, cooked on the foil with oil and cornmeal. Never tried this before but worked great - you never need to slide the raw pizza off the peel.

Cooked on cast iron preheated in oven for like 45 min at 550. Took maybe 7 minutes.

Looks great!

Thanks! This is probably the best undercarriage I've ever gotten in my oven, super happy with this method.
