How to watch the Guardians on TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Although not an apples to apples comparison, I like how the NHL revamped its broadcast rights with ESPN+ televising nearly all out of market games for just $6.99/month. Sure I cannot watch the Blue Jackets due to blackout restrictions, but I’m thrilled to follow my beloved Washington Capitals and Ovechkin chasing Gretzky for a bargain price. Now if an MLB streaming service could offer local team games for under $20 monthly, I think it would take off in popularity.

Right now MLB.tv I think is like 120 for all games (in one installment or do 4 of 30, 6 of 20 type) except it's blackedout local games... maybe do the 120 with blackouts and make it 160 or so, for no blackouts type of thing. Give options for people so that way if they live out of region, most games don't get blackedout and in region they can pay more and that pays for the station in a sense. Also I wish we could get MLB Network with MLB.tv since isn't it supposed to be MLB all the time anyways? Lol

I hear the Indians aren’t going to be on Tv in 2022

Bally Sports streaming channel coming in 2022.

Sinclair Broadcasting Group held its earnings call for Q4 2021 and discussed the future of their Bally Sports regional sports network direct-to-consumer streaming service. Industry insiders projected that the monthly subscription for the app would cost around $23 per month, but Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley denied that pricepoint in an interview.

During the conference call Wednesday, Ripley did not confirm how much the app would cost; however, he did give insight on what to expect during the DTC app’s soft launch in Q2 of 2022. The plans are to launch the streaming service with 5 MLB teams at first and then launch with all the NHL and NBA teams for which the company has streaming rights. Exact dates have not yet been announced, with NHL and NBA seasons beginning in the fall, it seems likely that the wide launch for those two leagues would be around the beginning of the 2022-2023 seasons.

This will help a lot with the people living in the blackout areas hopefully...
