Indians sign David Dellucci??

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Choo really has THAT kind of an arm, he has the RF job. If he has a Jermaine Dye or Ichiro type arm, he has the RF job locked up. A great RF arm is a great asset on D. Blake and Garko it is! I also think Victor should play Catcher. Casey and/or Garko are too good and promising to bench both.

its all about interchangable parts and matching up the best...

Blake's versatility will come in handy - i expect you may see him playing equally between first, third and RF depending on who is pitching...

Garko and Choo will end up platooning (but at two different positions) , and Marte won't see as much action early on as some would want

Shapiro tried to draw comparisons to franchises that he admired, and one of them was the NE Patriots - think about it for a moment - they have a WR who also plays DB, and linebackers who at least used to line up as TE's and catch touchdown passes...

now suddenly with the Indians you have 13 players who really should all be playing regularly or at least irregularly - thats a chance from the days when it was the same starting 9 and you had to read the roster to remember who the bench players were

i can't see this as a bad thing it all

the only potential issue is will Wedge be adroit enough to juggle this roster to get the max out of all of his players?

I'm finding it hard to get excited about a left handed Jason Michaels..look at the career numbers...

Identical..

Two years ago he hit 29 homers, last year he hit .292 with 13 in limited action. He's better than JM. Not by much most likely, but he is better.
