Nice game.

Forces nothing.

Loathe to take a bad shot orhunt for a shot/shot quota just to try and force and individual good scoring game.

Have to see a lot more from him in year two but I think it’s far too early to say it’s not potentially there and I think how unselfishly he plays(don’t ever think he’s been scared or shaken by the struggles) has probably kept him from having some random games earlier in the year that impressed people on the raw scoring total but did nothing for good team play.

Am I reaching here or does anyone else see it in a similar light?

I’ve always liked Okoro - just need to give him time. We are seeing developments the past couple games and really nice to see.

2nd consecutive game scoring in double digits and shooting the ball well. hope it continues.

I think Okoro benefits from Love being on the floor and the ball moving.

He's a guy who needs to get his rhythm by moving in an offense and attacking when the ball finds him in motion and THEN he'll space the floor for you. He's also a very smart IQ player who doesnt force it almost to a fault and will look to play with/off his teammates

In these past few games where the ball has moved and found him, he's given me all of rookie year Jaylen Brown playing off Horfords passing in that veteran Celtics system.

I love how he doesnt think twice about shooting it off Garland's passes. 2 of his 3 3pts were off drive and kicks from Garland where Isaac could just raise up when the ball got to him.

Playing now under control. Less hesitation. He's realizing where his shots come from and he is ready and reacting.

Love that spin move pass. If he can do stuff like that watch out.

How did DeRozan do?

That step back 3??? What is that for him?

He's clearly been working on that jumper, the last two games he's firing without hesitation and it looks like cash the second it leaves his hands. Seems to be a guy that maybe masters one thing at a time, looks like shit for a while, but then everything starts to slowly come together over time. The thing I hope he gets sorted out sooner rather than later is his footwork when he attacks the rim, I don't know if his footwork is bad or if he just doesn't know how to land, but he hits the floor too hard far too often. Didn't hit the floor hard in this game, but it seems like he takes a nasty spill every other game or something, it's concerning.

you wonder if Okoro’s shooting really is about confidence when you watch him hit that 3 with about 5 mins left in the game. the Cavs were essentially playing recess ball and Okoro looks calm and loose shooting. Instead of the deliberate mechanical form he usually has.

His start to April has been very good after a horrendous March, hopefully he can continue trending up
If I recall this is about the time Sexton started heating up his rookie year. His length is still a bit of a concern but there is alot trending in the right direction right now.
