That was pretty rough. So many of these games where you don't even remember he's on the team.

Cavs have to be thinking about drafting a bigger small forward right now.

19 last night. I didn’t see the game, but his line looks pretty good.

He was good disruptive, especially on Ingram. Not strong enough for Zion. Stevens was better on Zion.

Cut really well, battled for offensive putbacks and shot the 3 well. One popped in and out at the end that could have brought the cavs back.
He needs a pg for sure because he is a good finished but the handle is keeping him from initiating.

Shot his many foul shots well last night

Grabbed offensive RBs in traffic, was aggressive going to the rim and finished (he’s had trouble getting blocked). Yet another game where he had the highest offensive rating on the team. Improving despite playing a ton of minutes this season which is hard on a rookie. It’s going to be a treat watching him develop over the next few seasons.

Watching Okoro make catch and shoot 3s is so awesome. In his last 6 games he's shooting 60% and 56% from 3s. Take away his 1-3 night against the Raptors and he's scoring 14 pts per game in the last 5. The defensive effort has been solid all year and the offense has just recently started coming out, hoping it continues. He also just looks better at SG.

Okoro looked really good as a SG last night.

When he switched over and attempted to guard Ingram, he was overwhelmed and overmatched, but he held his own on either guard defensively.

He's just better as a SG.

Sometimes you see these guys with funky releases or that can only catch-and-shoot.

Okoro has a dribble step back three that he shoots with confidence and looks great doing it. It's easy to see, IMO, what the FO loved about him.

Percentage-wise, he's never been a great shooter. But I don't see many bad shooters showing the perimeter moves and mechanics that Okoro has. There's plenty of upside there that we're starting to see glimpses of.

Alot of Pels fans are hoping that Ingram eventually gets moved to SG after they find another wing. Anyway regardless of his eventual designation (SG or SF) Okoro will need to eventually figure out how to defend lengthier players on the wing. I bet he will figure it out using his athleticism or IQ to get better at that aspect of his game. Too early to pigeonhole him strictly as a SG at this point.

The game is pretty fluid & relatively positionless nowadays. I agree that Okoro should spend the majority of his time at the 2 so he can take advantage of his strength against 2-guards. But the best lineup in the league last year featured CP3, Shroeder, and SGA. Okoro can definitely spend some time at the 3.

Royce O'Neale is 6'4. Lu Dort is 6'3. These are two of the premier wing defenders in the league who routinely matchup fine with taller / longer players. I think Okoro becomes a high-level 1-3 defender.

If Ingram is moved to the 2, he'll be a matchup problem for every single team in the league, not just the Cavs.

Okoro is also the youngest guy on that list followed by Dort and Lonzo.

I'd love someone do a deep analysis about these matchups average vs what the scored and assisted against him. One thing I have notice is that it seems like his matchups have good assist games against him, but poor scoring ones like Jimmy did. They are doing what stars are supposed to and pass the ball when they aren't scoring easily.

I'd love to see what those numbers say over the course of the season and when he revisits matchups.
