8 players that are 100% better on the court right now than Okoro:

Garland, Rubio, Allen, Mobley, Cedi, Lauri, Love, Wade.
Then I'd even say Davis is even better in limited minutes as he's arguably the best rebounder on the team.

So there's a whole 9 man rotation there. Not to mention that JBB often runs just 8 guys. As who starts instead of Okoro? Rubio or Cedi or anyone who gets you better than 10% on wide open 3s.
Silly to label him a 10% 3 point shooter based on such a limited sample size. With almost 10 times as many attempts, he was right around 30% last season. Not good, but way way better than 10%.

I'd say Osman is a more capable shooting guard than he is a forward.

We currently don't have one quality small forward on the roster.

I call bull on all the people who say that Cedi can't defend. Is he a lockdown defender? No. But he's not a traffic cone as some here try to paint him.

I don't think he can guard SGs for 20-25 minutes a night. Or the better SFs. But I think he has more of a place on this squad than Okoro and would rather play him ahead on either slot until Okoro can prove he's able to actually defend anymore. But he feels like a net negative on both ends. And even when he makes a great defensive play like a steal, he ends up flubbing the fast break.

You’re calling bullshit on people who have watched Cedi from day 1? I’m assuming you just started watching the Cavs this season. Maybe just plant yourself in the Rubio thread and stay there my dude.

I don’t get this. We have plenty of wings (or dudes capable of playing the 3).

What we don’t have is a SG.
Not really? We start Markkanen at the 3, who up until this point has always been a 4/5. When he was out, we were starting Wade at the 3, who is also more of a 4. And our next option after Wade is probably Okoro, who is more of a 2.

The only natural 3s on the roster are Cedi and Valentine. Cedi's been a pleasant surprise this season, but yea, the 3 is definitely a position of major need for us.

Watching NBA TV pregame - IT has to keep his eyes from dropping. That’s some pair under the white turtleneck. Good lord.

Not sure what your post supposed to mean. He currently starts with Garland and he gets some minutes with Rubio. And he still sucks major ass. He's a highway toll on your road to success, until he starts converting his open shots.
Reading is fundamental. Pointless to play two point guards together for most of the game
Okoro is what he is but has to start at this point
Don’t be so dense as your driving down your highway

Cavs blogosphere in a nutshell.

Jordan, who used to mod around here (haven't seen him in a while) declared, after the Boston win, that "the Cavs are better without Colin Sexton."

Of course there's been no tweets about the Cavs whatsoever SINCE that game.

Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Him and Sloth are the biggest Sexton haters in the Cavs media. Even, after Collin basically won the game for us against the Nets last season;they were saying why Collin waited til play good in the 4th quarter and overtime..

Im more surprised they like don't hate Garland like they do Collin because they were on that nonsense about Garland too. Both have good games in a win but will nitpick the hell out of them...

That podcast is nothing but negativity.

Not any more.. his last decent defense year was James last season with us.. and while there was a time he was more productive at 2 than 3 or 4, today he is best at the 4.. which is not saying he is adequate at 4.. he is versatile, goes hot from time to time, and he tries.. I am OK with him as a backup..

You're responding to the dude that only posts here because he's a Markannen fan. As soon as the Cavs find a 2 way big wing/SF Markk likely moves to 6th man.

After years of watching Cedi I will say that SG is probably his best position. The Cavs have played him out of position since Lebron left. As for Okoro I don't know. He's almost like a PF skillwise in a SG body.
