Its too damn cold Saints @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nope. Not at all. I'm talking specifically about the 4th and 2 throw, it was a deep sideline pattern. Watson had to put some air under the ball to get it over the defense, a wind gust caught the ball, and it went over DPJ's head. You and CBBI were crucifying Watson for not making that pass. Watson did fine throwing the ball as long as he could throw it hard and on a line. He couldn't make any completions when he tried to put any air under it at all, because of the wind. That is just physics. A deep out pattern going over the coverage isn't a great choice as a play call when it's 4th and 2 in today's conditions.

That's all I'm saying.

Any play call that ends in open receiver that the QB sees and has the protection to make a throw is a good play call. Flat out.

The weather sucked, but the weather sucked across the country and other QBs made plays. No excuses.

Maybe I’m just too sensitive, but listening to the pressers after these ugly losses and nobody really seems to care that much. Stefanski. Watson. Myles. They take all of these in stride. Nobody seems upset. It doesn’t have to be Dennis Green, but is it too much to ask for somebody to get pissed?

The AFC is loaded with good QBs.

Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Tua, Jackson, Lawrence, Watson... brutal.
and the NFC basically having Rodgers, the Carcass of Boody, Hurts, System QB Football Kevin Love (Cousins), with hardly a bench (Fields, maybe?) .... it's time that a big time talent comes over there. the reason the NFC South sucks is testament.

There's a wide open guy in the right side of the end zone. Just sayin'.
There were actually three wide open defenders for that pick 6 there, not one.

You're right. Cooper was open on that play. For some reason Watson never even looked to his right, he was looking left all the way. It seems like his reads were to all to the left? Cooper was bracketed short and deep but he was perfectly in between the 2 defenders.

Just following their leader.

I see a lot of complaints in all directions, but this game will be an L because they don't have the personnel to stop the run, and that has been the case since week two of the season. Any team that chooses to run it down our throats and play ugly football can and will win against this team. The injuries to linebackers has been unfortunate, but the defensive line outside of Myles has been a slow train wreck.

Merry Christmas.
So it's Berry's fault? On that I concur.

Not for the last like 5 weeks they haven't. Including today.

That's on the coach... They got away from it which is not a surprise. I said they would try to pass to much if we got Watson...

Ask yourself why Nick Chubb hasn’t looked good in 7 weeks. It’s not because he sucks. The O-Line has been terrible.

We’re also not going away from the run. We’ve been terrible at run blocking.
