People were lampooning this on Twitter, but Warner is not an old school off-ball linebacker. He’s ostensibly a big safety that excels in coverage, but also has the size and awareness to tackle, play the run, etc.

I don't think he will have enough snaps compared to other teams who need a guy to play 90% of the snaps. Walker's injury definitely puts JOKer into position for more snaps now... regular season, probably not.

Fair point. I think you’re probably right. I also think he will be splitting some snaps with Harrison, on top of the other linebackers.

I know JOK is fast enough to make plays in coverage, can’t wait to see how they’ll make progress against the run.

Will be watching his ability to set the edge outside, getting off blocks and not getting pushed out against the NFL lineman coming at him.

Cant wait to see how they’ll use him.

Why you got to squeeze the fun sponge?!? You can't keep this grown man off the field - he is ready to go! JOK is going to be a monster this year and now he can get some extra snaps when it doesn't matter so that he'll be all over the field by week 4. BOOK IT.

I don't think he'll ever be the guy who gets off blocks regularly. He's the guy who beats blocks with explosiveness and agility.

And... as we saw on tape, he's really fucking good at it.
