Seattle wide receiver Joe Jurevicius will visit Cleveland on March 12. The two sides seem as if they are closing in on a four-year deal.

So I am not excited about this. $3 mil is way too much for him, but I guess that'show the game goes.

Some guy on the OBR boards has been saying all morning JJ is signing a 4 year deal with us.

Obviously were gonna have to overpay more bc the new cba raised the cap, giving everyone more $$

Supposedly Sirius is reporting the JJ signing as well

After JJ, where does that leave us in terms of financial flexibility with other potential FA's ?

I just seen where Carolina signed the Ravens DT.... Although I never expected to get him, I would love to accuire at least 1 solid Defensive player in this free agency...

I would rather not have a WR than to sign JJ at that rate..

And the new CBA has nothing to do with JJ, he is a middle of the pack guy in the first place, there are just a lot of teams that need a #2 WR and there aren't a lot on the market.

I still hope their is a backdoor way to get David Givens, maybe we swoop in when he realizes how much of a mess the o-line is and realizes the ball won't make it to him.

JJ would be a great addition - when healthy, he is a game changer. I would rather have JJ than Givens...

Sign him and Peterson (the best defensive player available), and, cap willing, maybe Trevor Pryce, and I will formally shit on my computer.

I'd prefer Givens if the Browns could have their choice of either he or JJ. Givens is younger than Jurevicius and I'd prefer to get players who are in their prime rather than players on the downside if it's possible.

Sucks that Kemoeatu signed with the Panthers although $23 million is a lot for a player with really only 1 decent season. Signing a vet like Adams or Jackson would be fine now since the choices at NT are limited. There aren't any quality younger players available to play that spot.
