If Cavs play the Sixers in round one, not only is it a sweep, but the Cavs don't win any game by less than ten points. The 76ers wouldn't be anywhere near as tough a matchup as the Pistons were in the first round last year.
Honestly, as crazy as this sounds, the Pistons were probably the toughest of the three EC matchups.
Listen, Embiid is really fucking good, Noel is a good defender, Saric is a good playmaking four, Okafor can score in the post, and Simmons has a lot of potential. But the Cavs have five out of the six best players in that series. LeBron, Kyrie, Love, JR, and Korver are better NBA players right now than anyone not named Embiid on Philly's roster.
I don't think Okafor is playable against the Cavs. The dude literally has no lateral movement. It would be like when Drummond played against us last postseason, except far, far worse.
The Sixers also have a total of zero players who can guard either Kyrie or LeBron. I have no idea how they would even attempt to do this.
Sixers are hot right now. People need not mistake that for them being anything closely resembling a threat to the Cavs.
