His adjustments are non existent. His set rotations that he brings from home are not good enough. He needs to be more dynamic and flexible.
Boba gets into the game, and instead of inserting Sexton and run him off the floor, he keeps Dellavedova and Love on the floor.

Garland on Luka for some reason to start the 2nd quarter was mind boggling. Sexton who contests terribly and always too late on Luka to start the game..why?

Not coming with a gameplay to stop Luka by double teaming him, or doing something different to slow the Mavs down.

Garland gets hot in the 3rd, and again he subs him out at the 6:15 mark. Why? what the heck is he doing?

I'm frustrated with the lack of offensive sets and his rotations/lack of adjustments..to tell you the truth. I'm at this stage disappointed with Beilein unfortunately.

I wonder what is holding him back from making adjustments. Mckinnie has shown to be playable. Knight actually hasn't been bad when he has played and he adds 3 pt shooting that Delly currently doesn't. Zizic is also available to play.

He currently feels like a college coach who is a fish out of water. He doesn't seem to understand that his roster has a much closer talent level from player to player than in college. Matching up in the NBA with the 8-12 guys helps the team more than hurts because the talent level is so close in those spots.

You guys realize that we might be the least talented team in the NBA, right?

Yes but Mckinnie, Knight, and Zizic can help to adjust to teams especially when Clarkson isn't scoring, almost half of the games Delly has played have been scoreless, and Nance is dealing with a thumb injury. All those guys have NBA experience.

Sometimes you just need to add a wing for defense or a better 3 point shooter for spacing or just someone to help score in the paint.

I’m just struggling to care that Beilein isn’t giving those bums time over our other bums.

I’m more concerned with him implementing his systems and developing players.

I agree to a point but delly isn’t doing us any favors. Just about anyone else would be an upgrade. I’d rather have knight out there.

For me it's not those players being better but they help match up with size or shooting. I think being in games is better than being blown out for development.

I know Beilein wants to put in a system with 2 guards but in today's NBA you can only get you so far. So many teams have wing heavy lineups. It wouldn't be effective for us to always have 2 guards on court for a full 48 minutes of a game. Our wings need chances to develop at SG and Beilein needs to figure out how to incorporate them into his system.

I also don't think it makes sense to develop Sexton for all his minutes as a SG. Developing his PG skills will help him play with Garland but also help with flexibility in lineups going forward.

Amidst all of the criticism, it is worth pointing out how Beilein found the new TT. Tristan has never played this well and I think it speaks to Beilein’s willingness to ask him to operate from the elbow.

I’m frustrated with his rotations, but Beilein has done other things very well, and the Cavs are winning way more than I thought they would.

While,I agree with you about Tristan, you gotta take into account Tristan was never asked to score. Tristan was asked to be a defender and rebounder for most of his career.

I watched some TT highlights to figure out how is scoring. The big thing I noticed is TT learned how to dribble so instead of relying on others to set him up and his explosiveness to score, he can now pick and choose his spots. So often before he would get a rebound or a not perfect pass, and he would be stuck and defenders would swarm to try to get him to turnover the ball.

Now he can take a couple dribbles and get to his spot for that floater or a layup off the board. I'm not sure if he had those shots before but even if he did, he could only rare use them. I also think he has regain some of his explosiveness.

I think teams will adjust to him and his scoring will come back down to earth, I think some teams already adjusted. The next progression should be for him to make an outlet pass to a shooter. If he can do that, I think teams will have a hard time defending him because he will have multiple options/moves.

Starting to really love this coach. He's really taking these loses hard and constantly trying to figure out ways to be better. He has so much knowledge of the game, really enjoying listening to him talk during these practice sessions, a breath of fresh air.

Talks a lot about Porter here and a little update on Windler's status, expects him to be ready soon.

TT had this since his 2nd year. The year before LeBron came his jump hook was a legit weapon. Fred called his jump hook across the lane "the mountie". It was stupid but effective because it was equally good with both hands.

He would take guys to the hoop with a good first step too.

Still it is surprising to see that was developing to be better and better the whole time he wasn't using it much.
