I could see how some of the vets would dislike Beilein and the way he game plans. Really the adjustments in game and from game to game are too slow.

I could see Beilein focusing on the wrong style to play in the NBA. Most college teams that are successful from year to year have a grind it out style. Dump it down to the bigs to score in the post and play hard defense. You can win in college with a slow pace.

Beilein was always going to have an adjustment period to the NBA. I think he made an adjustment during preseason to the regular season. He just hasn't made another adjustment yet which I think most experience NBA coaches would have to the offense.

I think success in college is finding the style of play best for your roster and sticking to it thick or thin. The NBA is alot more about adjustments and moving around pieces during the game to match up and exploit the other team. NBA rosters are alot more fluid and usually have alot of versatile depth. College rosters are pretty much set in stone and can be very lopsided with different positions and talent.

TT had a great post game interview where he addressed it. He may have been playing dumb that he hadn't heard it, but he said "I hope it's a suit that is saying that and not one of my guys. Coach B gave me an opportunity to expand my game that other coaches haven't. He wants all of us to grow not just the young guys."

Make me not want to trade him, and he did play really hard tonight.

Personally just needed to see a game like this again. They made progress tonight. Great game from Collin and Cedi even if they screwed up the finish.

I really thought they deserved the win tonight. Several bad calls including that goal tend.

Coach was very cool and took those questions about his leadership really well. He's a boss. He's going to be great for the team and organization.

I don't want to come down to hard on Love because I am not as sure he involved. Windhorst said there is a bad bug going around the NBA and it is knocking guys on their ass. After hearing Tristan I think that story might be bullshit or something more like Brandon Knight.

Beilein did say Collin has been really responding to coaching the past 10 days. Maybe he was being more resistant earlier? Beilein said the assists recently are part of that.

These are Coach's answers to the rumors. Pretty measured and love how sure he is.

Agree with guys saying Collin and Cedi should have come in earlier. They were hot and didn't come back in until they were cold.

I have feeling it's someone like Brandon Knight whose talking. Guy isn't getting much minutes and is probably gonna be out of the league soon if something doesn't change for him

It's all speculation until guys get dealt or someone gets outed as a malcontent

In Beilein's response he made a comment about players playing for contracts this year (need to feed their families) and I thought whether intentional or not, it was a hint as to who would complain. The candidates are:

Thompson
Knight
Clarkson
Henson
Dellavedova
Zizic
McKinnie

Also; no way it was Love. He could simply (and quietly) just ask them to trade him. I also recall him getting more upset with someone going to the media back in the Thomas/Wade year where someone was questioning him not playing than what actually took place in house.

Zizic possibly?

This roster is just too bloated with guys that want and need to play for that next contract

Well it's not TT. He was very vocal in support of coach right after the game.
I think the likely candidates for complaints would be Knight and Clarkson. Both will be gone by the trading deadline.
This is a very flawed roster. The sooner we can reshape it the better.

If,the report is true, the player should have talked to Beilein about it privately instead of hiding like a rat. Beilein seems like a reasonable person and would have adjusted accordingly...imo

I have no problem with a player talking to the media anonymously but at least give the coach one year before calling him out. This is Beilein's first coaching job in the NBA...Beilein haven't fully implemented any of his players yet folks are complaining about his style of coaching.

With that said Beilein does need to adjust his lineups like play McKinnie or Knight more and sit Dellvadova. Dellvadova is awful. I would like to see Zizic play more.

Love already came out and spoke negatively, so we know it was him, although perhaps there were others? My guess is it’s Knight as he hasn’t been getting the minutes that he hoped he would.

Exactly Love came out and spoke to the media. He didn't need to do it behind closed doors. My guess is others did it privately. Love had the guts to just let loose on the media for the world to see.

How do you know he didn’t do both? He’s clearly frustrated.

and also never take a players word for it. TT coming out in support publicly doesn’t automatically mean he’s not one of the sources. No player is going to admit to being the guy in a story like this. Everyone is going to say they support the coach and all that publicly

I don't know if KLove did or didn't. But why speak privately then the next day trash the team anyways? Seems like a odd course of action. It could have been Love I just don't see how it makes sense. He was upfront about it and he's been upfront with most stuff in the past.

I never said anything about TT. He seems like the type of snake to say one thing in private and then say nice things publicly. His stats have also gone down after a hot start so he would likely have beef with Coach B since he's entering FA.

If you’re publicly mad about something it would be safe to assume you’re also privately upset. Maybe he was upset privately for longer and decided to come out publicly.
