Kareem Hunt: One Pissed Off Runner!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really love how Kareem has handled essentially being 1B behind Chubb. He always appears to be in high spirits, brings a lot of energy in the locker room and on the field, and buys into his role in the system. He could easily be a starter on another team in this league and while I hope he stays long-term, I wouldn't begrudge him if he wanted to leave at the end of his contract for one more payday.
Agreed, but man, I hope he's happy here and just wants to stay. It'd be nice if we could get to the point of getting some players on the cheap because of a positive rep vs having to pay more to attract FA's.

Wasn't JJ3 offered more money somewhere? I think we've entered that era :headbang2:.
It'll be nice if we can follow it up w/ a Championship. Something I'd love to happen in my Dad's lifetime, he's getting up there. :)
I'd love for us to come out of this w/ a respected culture like the Patriots have/had. That'd be a fitting reward for the doormat culture since '99.

I'm just happy Kareem Hunt is in a good mental place now, enjoying the game and happy.

The sports side of me is thrilled he's a Brown and not on the Chiefs... he's a much better running back than CEH.

Really a win/win/win for the player, the franchise, and the rest of the NFL aside from the Chiefs.

Still baffles me that they took CEH over Swift, who does everything CEH does but better.

Are the Patriots a respected culture, or respected because they won? Most of what is said about Patriots culture involves cheating or scandals (deflategate, spygate, etc), doesn't it?

From the player's POV, it's Super Bowls for sure, but I do also think their organization is viewed overall as one of excellence. You're right though, they've had their fair share of pushing the limits (and exceeding them).

I do agree, but Reid might have been scared off by Swift's fumbling issue. I'd still gamble on talent in that case, or wait a round.

I think there were like 3 fights. All involving alcohol. The only one on video was the woman he hit and kicked. One was in Put in Bay
Under no circumstances is it okay to assault anyone, that being said being forced to go to Put-In-Bay would make me want to fight someone.

Taylor and Dobbins were available as well if they were set on RB. Taylor is one of the most prolific college RBs of all time, and the only one on the top ten for yards that only played three years. Most people here know how good Dobbins was since he played at OSU. Akers was, in my opinion, a better RB prospect too, although his production was dinged by playing for a shit team.

And, in hindsight, it looks like Gibson would have been better too, but he had almost no production in college so he was a much bigger dart throw.

At any rate, taking a guy like CEH just to run him up the gut constantly makes the decision to pass on such significantly better between the tackles guys puzzling to say the least.

He's in high spirits because they don't test for weed anymore. He's in a good situation, with a smart outlook, a lesser workload now may give him a longer career or at least one can hope. He's fit in nicely and was a good pickup by Berry. Really, ask he had to do too get back into good graces was stop getting into bar fights and kicking his side piece's friends and he has done that. Hopefully as you noted, he does well, stays healthy and productive and gets the big contract he was headed for before the stupidity broke loose.

He is staying. What he found here is something money can’t buy.

Any updates on Kareem ?
