He has actually started to pick up over the last few games, shooting the ball with more of his usual rhythm, signs that he is getting over his hand injury. However he far too many games when he is shooting fewer than 5 times a night, Cavs struggle for shooting as it is, guards need to do a better job at creating shots. Last night 3/4, 2 tip ins and a last second bail out shot at the end of the first quarter, effectively had one play ran for him to get a clean look. Pointless to play a guy with his defensive issues if you are not going to feature him offensively.

A trade might be the best choice at this point.

i dont think hes that horrible defensively and he is still an elite rebounder with world class basketball IQ and the chances of the cavs finding a better 4 coming of the bench is pretty slim

This is why LeBron called him out. He had been bullying the rookies at the time. He was known for pouring out his mouthpiece into their post-practice pork chops and acting like it was a big joke.

I want to see how both Kevin and Cedi play in the playoffs. I think Kevin has learned to they're needed. Cedi got here in LeBron's final season, but he played with both LeBron and the man he should be modeling himself on: Kyle Korver.

I don't see the Korver comparison. Cedi can get hot from deep, but he's got more to his game than Korver did and is nowhere near the shooter Korver was (which is OK).

Cedi's slashing has become legitimately great this season and he needs to look for as many of those opportunities as possible, both in the half court and in transition. In half court I understand it's difficult because the Cavs are often playing at least 2 non-shooters, but I am hopeful that will improve as the roster gets melded over time.

Cedi is a threat from distance but I don't want that to be his one trick skill like it was Korver's. He's not good enough at it and he's so good in other areas that limiting him to that role would be the worst of both worlds.

Crazy how thejy won't give him a damn charge lately.

Really annoying for me when I see other players with "reps" get to swipe and claw at players because they are known as good defenders or shot blockers and then our guys with reps don't get the benefit of the doubt.
