He has actually started to pick up over the last few games, shooting the ball with more of his usual rhythm, signs that he is getting over his hand injury. However he far too many games when he is shooting fewer than 5 times a night, Cavs struggle for shooting as it is, guards need to do a better job at creating shots. Last night 3/4, 2 tip ins and a last second bail out shot at the end of the first quarter, effectively had one play ran for him to get a clean look. Pointless to play a guy with his defensive issues if you are not going to feature him offensively.
A trade might be the best choice at this point.
i dont think hes that horrible defensively and he is still an elite rebounder with world class basketball IQ and the chances of the cavs finding a better 4 coming of the bench is pretty slim
iirc....a couple weeks ago he was leading the league in taking charges as well.
