Terry didn’t get into salary cap implications but adding a huge contract would make it far more difficult to retain our young 3.

His comment that there were no discussions since training camp on the Cavaliers acquiring Simmons match what Woj said, who talked about possibly “restarting“ the discussions.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t make a big deal this season (any current starter, Love, Cedi, Sexton or any FRPs).

I would give up a 2nd for Shroder for sure, plus what ever minor player or 2 we need to make it work. Maybe Windler and Valentine, not sure what we need to make it work, but honestly Rubio might be cooked and he would be a great backup pg.
