Fedor says teams are already calling about Drum and McGee.
That's exactly what I would expect the mouthpiece of the organization to sayFedor says teams are already calling about Drum and McGee.
think the team we are most comparable with in terms of draft positioning is chicago.. and they had a year head start with Markkanen. I much prefer our bunch of younger guys to theirs personally.I'll say this, considering where the Cavs have picked, who they had available, and when they decided to rebuild, the Cavs have absolutely crushed teams like Atlanta and Detroit. You can throw the Pelicans, Wizards and about a handful of other teams in there too.

I believe people are calling about McGee.I believe him this time. Tons of injured big men out there.
I believe people are calling about McGee.
I see very few potential suitors for Drummond given his contract.

I don't see any realistic way Toronto or Portland could take on DrummondHmm, we can do something with Charlotte, Raptors, Blazers. Looking at a 3 team trade that involves Rozier mainly. Norman Powell looks like he is a good salary filler as well. We can finesse something.
If the Raptors want to reach the playoffs, they need to get a big. Like right now. Baynes apparently is completely washed up.
I think we're clearly shopping him, but I don't believe anybody is calling about Drummond.Well, "very few" also means "some", right?
Thing is, it is obvious to the entire league that we absolutely aren't going to re-sign Drummond, which means we lose him for nothing at the end of the year. At this point, it would be nice to move him just to eliminate the logjam -- I don't think we actually need any positive value in return to have it make sense for us. If our price is low enough, and considering that he's an expiring, maybe someone out there is willing to do a deal.

You also have to remember that we'd need to take back about $30/year in salary (at last some beyond this year). The price tag shouldn't be cheap for us to take on that kind of money.
Toronto makes the most and possibly only sense for Drummond.
There’s no way Portland can possibly do the deal.
Hornets would have to probably give up something too valuable to make contracts work
I agree, and his value was already low.IF we're taking back salary beyond this year, then yes, we'd expect a return for that. I'm just saying that Drummond's value alone has basically cratered for us because of the acquisition of Allen.
Rozier is a better fit with Lamelo than Graham, Rozier is also a better player than GrahamThey have a logjam at 1. Their tiny back court just doesn't really work. They would rather make LaMelo the starting pg sooner rather than later. Trading Rozier for a better fit makes sense...a 3 team trade with Rozier going to a 3rd team seems reasonable.
