I think the key here is that I wasn't comparing the players, but instead comparing the role. The Cavs want to fill out the bigman rotation around Frobley starting. Spacing is key, because Frobley was a product of building a front court around Kevin Love's strengths and weaknesses.

this is the opening salvo for OKC. Ainge knows the the Thunder would like Laurie and everyone knows they have more picks than they can use. Everyone also knows that Laurie isn't worth that much, but he's on a great contract for another 1 1/2 years. After that, he's going to get paid - probably more than he's worth. Ainge doesn't want to pay a then 28/29 yr. old Laurie huge money either, so he would love to get a bunch of picks and/or young players for him. It's going to be interesting.
