when he does come back I would be all for giving KLove a few games off to keep him fresh

He has a week off coming up over all star break and he is only playing 22 minutes a night, KLove is good, he doesnt need any more time off than the all star break

As I said at the time of the injury. 6-8 weeks for a normal high ankle sprain, but if it’s a lesser version we could see him after the ASB which is at 4.5 weeks. That was about as good of an internet diagnosis as your gonna find.

Good to see Lauri back out there... seems like he'll be good to go post all-star break

I see that video and think underrated.

Its all about Thriller and Bad, but the Off The Wall ablum was an all time great album,, MJ was the greatest performer of all time and we dont tall about Off the Wall enough.

@RchfldCavRaised tell me I am wrong, you cant, because I am not.

Somewhere between 4.5 and 8 weeks. Wow, you really nailed it.

I predicted he'd be back either before or after the All-Star break.

Looking forward to him getting back on the court. They’re missing his length and shooting. A missing piece.
Team is 7-3 since he went out. Wade is only shooting 53% from the field, and 45% from 3 point range, plus playing very good defense. He is really holding the team back.

Team is 7-2 when Wade started in that stretch. He did not get the start in Houston. But his stats for those 10 games are the same.

They can’t wait for the 34% shooter with less defense to get back!

Maybe it has something to due to the Cavs being a significantly better team with Lauri Markannen on the court with the other core starters like DG/Allen/Mobley. +13.6 with Markannen on the court. Offense and defense are significantly better. +4.7 with him off the court.

He obviously significantly improves our starting and many closing lineups

If you added an additional variable which is with/without Rubio, then this might be a bit more meaningful to me. Most of the minutes without Markkanen have been in the last few weeks without Rubio as well.

Lurking variables are a b****

Same stats were valid while Rubio was playing too.

2 7 footers wasn't really a mismatch for Philly. I think 3 would be. They don't have the guys to defend that properly. Lauri as a help defender is actually pretty good.
I don't think Laurie would have made much difference in the Philly game. He would have been doing the same thing Wade and Love were doing on offense, which is mostly spot up. Maybe he would have done it a little better, but with Allen, Mobley and LeVert operating as they do, there was not a lot of opportunity for Laurie to use his height advantage. And on the other end, he would have been the one chasing Harris around and that would not have played to his strengths. He will help us when he's healthy, no doubt, but I don't think the Philly game would have been any different with him. Between Embiid and their guards, they just played with a lot more force than we did.

Thybulle was on Garland. Is Maxey or Green guarding Lauri? Can Thybulle guard him?

Would have had an opportunity to shoot over them. I just think it would have made the Cavs harder to defend
