Leadership Specialist Tyrod Taylor

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is it Tyrod, Tuhrod, or are we sure it's not Turdrod?

*meme of choice*

OK, guy doesn't play great in the rain, fine. But at least do a little better job with managing the clock. We pissed away several possessions in that 4th quarter and OT.

And if history is any indicator, he's also going to frustrate an equal number of people with his reluctance to attack the middle of the field and/or take risks.

Buffalo was always split on the guy. Maybe he breaks out here, but I caution people to keep realistic expectations.

Having said that, he'll be lightyears better than anything we've had at QB recently. Period.

Bump.

God damn that was frustrating as fuck.

Probably, but we learned last year what happens when you run a rookie early. Last thing we need to do is ruin the #1 overall pick by playing him too fast.

If you're worried about ruining the No. 1 overall pick by playing him too early, a 23-year old 5th year senior with almost 50 college starts no less, then he shouldn't have been the No. 1 overall pick frankly.

If you don't want to let Hue get his "turn everything to shit" hands on Mayfield, I can understand that.

I think with some of this coaching staff, it doesn't matter if we play him now or in a season, they're going to ruin him.

Today seemed like a perfect example of what we heard about Tyrod in the offseason. He won't do anything to lose you the game, but won't do anything to win you the game either.

Almost sounds like the description of an ideal backup QB....

How about waiting until the UDFA LT protecting his blind side gets his feet a little wet before throwing Mayfield back there?

He did underthrow a wide open Gordon at the end of regulation, leading to a back-breaking interception.

I think that qualifies as doing something to lose the game.
