I don't follow young players, but I did see a bit of some game for high prospect younger players, and Carlos Boozer's kid (I guess there are two, so the better one) looked really freaking good. Kid was tossing outlet passes like his old man.

This is so scarily common. Shaq's son had to have surgery to repair his heart with a similar event. Luckily for Bronny if this derails his career, financially he will be fine. So lets just hope he is healthy and worry about basketball later.

A teammate of my son’s got out of the pool and died of a heart attack on his 18th birthday.

Heart issues for late teens and early twenties are rare but they do happen.

Hope he’s ok.

Emoni Bates would have been a top 5 pick had it not been for the 1 and done rule. NBA teams love it it's not going anywhere.

Just very unusual for someone that young and competing at that level [where everything these kids do are essentially run by labs to maximize their physical potential; also helps if their genes come from LeBron James] to suffer cardiac arrest.
