Ugh, I hated Thor 2. It's literally the only Marvel movie that I really could not stand. I own it, and I appreciate it's relevance to Agents of Shield and the rest of the universe, but it's not one I ever watch "just to watch." I think the other thing is, by the point of it's release, we'd seen a ton of Loki. I wanted a new villain to no avail. What I've loved so much about Agents, Winter Soldier, Civil War, even Ultron, is we got to see a whole group of new villains that all had their own motivations... I think Infinity is gonna make that even better.

Loki is too Low-key ? hmmm ..

So I am testy about some things (Otherwise I enjoyed it)

1. People in this thread have already expressed their confusion over how spiderman was defeated by Cap and also by how the famous Spidey Sense decided to take a vacation during the fight scenes, So I wont bring that up anymore but that annoyed me like heck.

2. How did War Machine survive that fall ?

3. How weak is Tony Stark's armor? The Winter Soldier was able to break it, Captain America was able to crush the leg rocket and his blasters could do jack squat.

4. Does anybody else feel bad for Jeremy Renner? He is a bigger star than most in the movie yet he gets whooped by any and every hero.

1. Peter even mentioned that he has trouble focusing with his new powers. Sensory overload, I believe, is the term he used. He's still figuring stuff out, and this is easily explained away.

2. Don't know. It's a miracle.

3. It was broken with vibranium, the hardest substance known to man.

4. He's Hawkeye, a human among super-humans. He plays his role.

Okay, so my sister is graduating from college this weekend, so I had a lot of downtime and re-read the Civil War graphic novel and the Iron Man/Cap GN too.

I'm not saying it is a critique of the movie, because I really enjoyed the movie, but I think I appreciated the darkness of the comic storyline more. Obviously Marvel can't be dark in their films. But I wonder if one or two actual character deaths would have maximized the impact of the war more? Marvel movies just have a hard time killing characters so I don't think it would've went well. Just an interesting foil to note.

Oh, I know, haha. I did that a bit in college. I stopped doing it when I met a guy who writes comics. I just, personally, couldn't justify not spending a little money on comics/GNs. I did it for awhile tho, and have a ton of friends who do, so no judgement on my part for people that do torrent them. Just not my style.

There is also just something nice about having the actual pages in your hands. I never could get into ereaders, especially for comics.

I think they're saving any major deaths for the third Avengers movie. I'm guessing Cap or Iron Man bites it in that one, if not both.

Chris Evans wants to continue as Captain America after his contract is up. RDJr is the one who should have to die if that is the case.

By the way, there is an insanely good HD rip of Civil War on Pirate Bay right now. Like, DVD quality. Best I've ever seen of a theatrical release this close to the release date.

Are you talking about the Telecine rip? From CPG?

I agree...its got to be time for robert downey jr. to put down the suit. If Cap goes they could at least go with winter soldier picking up the mantle.

Says ETRG at the end of the file name.

I had downloaded the CPG release initially, and it was good for a cam but as a TC, I was slightly disappointed. Figured the ETRG was going to be the same. will give it a go in a bit.

Like I said, this is basically the best early rip I've ever seen for a movie that is only a few weeks old, discounting any instances where some sort of screener leaked or something. It's not blu-ray quality or anything, but it feels like watching a DVD.
