Alright folks! This is where we can talk about the minor league games during the week of 4/11-4/16...

Next week I can get a way better thread started, but in no way can I get the lineups and whatnot out so people can see!

I know Allen goes tonight for AAA, Burns for AA, Captains are starting Davenport and Lynchburg hasn't stated yet!

Anyone want to post lineups for me when they come out?

The Triple-A Columbus Clippers got off to a strong start, winning their first three games of the season against the Toledo Mud Hens. However, they dropped their next two games against the Indianapolis Indians, ending the week with a 3-2 record. Outfielder Daniel Johnson had a great week, hitting .400 with two home runs and five RBI.

The Double-A Akron RubberDucks also had a solid week, going 4-2 against the Bowie Baysox and the Altoona Curve. The offense was led by first baseman Tyler Freeman, who hit .364 with two home runs and six RBI. Pitcher Juan Hillman also had a strong outing, allowing just one run in six innings in his start against Bowie.

The High-A Lake County Captains had a rough start to the week, dropping their first two games against the Lansing Lugnuts. However, they bounced back with three straight wins against the West Michigan Whitecaps. Catcher Joe Donovan had a big week at the plate, hitting .350 with three home runs and seven RBI.
Finally, the Low-A Lynchburg Hillcats struggled in their first week of the season, going 1-5 against the Fredericksburg Nationals and the Delmarva Shorebirds. Shortstop Brayan Rocchio had a solid week at the plate, hitting .273 with a home run and four RBI.

Overall, it was a mixed bag for the Cleveland Guardians minor league affiliates, with some teams performing well and others struggling to find their footing. However, it's still early in the season, and there's plenty of time for each team to improve and work towards their ultimate goal of developing players for the major league club.

Sincerely, I kind of want to get this thread going so I don't exactly need the jokes...

Madthinker had these all of last season and they were nice to have, so either help me or leave the jokes out until these really get going...

AAA lineup for today!

Has anyone seen the other ones posted yet?

Aka that's the biggest need I will have with the game thread since I cannot get on during the day to post lineups and whatnot!

Well you guys can all read the boxscores!

I am glad to see Pries finally broke his slump in a good way... He still has some struggles against some breaking pitches and left handers. Let's see if he can get past that!

Furman, Lipscomb and Lampe have all looked good in the boxscores...

@Tondo

How much have you seen that trio play?

With the fact Lampe is at high A the season after he got drafted, I feel like he will be a fast riser and is likely a 25 ETA and maybe faster if he handles AA well this season...

@sportscoach
With the exception of Lynchburg, the various team twitter accounts are a great place to get the daily lineups & pitching match ups ahead of the game being played (typically 90 to 120 minutes before 1st pitch). Unless it has changed the Lynchburg twitter was basically non-existent the past few seasons.

Additionally the twitter accounts for Justin Lada (JL_baseball) & Guardians Prospectitve do a very good job announcing the daily pitching match up & roster moves.

EDIT:
Hope this helps this week..
