Minor League game thread 4/11-4/16

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@sportscoach
With the exception of Lynchburg, the various team twitter accounts are a great place to get the daily lineups & pitching match ups ahead of the game being played (typically 90 to 120 minutes before 1st pitch). Unless it has changed the Lynchburg twitter was basically non-existent the past few seasons.

Additionally the twitter accounts for Justin Lada (JL_baseball) & Guardians Prospectitve do a very good job announcing the daily pitching match up & roster moves.

EDIT:
Hope this helps this week..

My issue is, I really don't use Twitter, plus I am at work when the lineups and stuff go out lol I am gonna do what I can, but no way can I do what you were doing on my own cause of my current schedule.

Posted CleGuardPro tweet on Allen hitting 94.9 last night (92.6 average). But I also saw him throw a lot of sweepers last night and it was very effective. He threw 32 - 6 Called strikes and 8 whiffs but look at where they all were (just below knees -- highly accurate). He didn't throw too many Splitters (his highly effective change-up) only 6. He also threw only 5 cutters (what was really bad last year but he is trying for 4th pitch). This was after throwing 14-15 of each of these 3 pitches in his last outing (sweeper,cutter and splitter). Maybe FO told him to get that 3rd pitch working (and scrap the 4th for now) for a possible call-up?????

I feel like if they were going to call him up, they wouldn't have pitched him last night. I have a hunch, that for Allen, they want him to perfect those last two pitches before they call him up in a sense. Another injury and yeah, he will be up, otherwise he will be at AAA for now working on things.

I am just saying, it's going to be a looooooong 6 weeks. Don't have much faith in our 5th starter (let alone 4th or 3rd). Thus, trying to generate some buzz for the next .... tryout.

Well Allen I believe is the next man up, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him this season especially if Plesac struggles and/or gets traded...

For the games on Weds 4/12/23..

I went yesterday and thinking about tonight…

I probably will. I’m going to the Nats/G’s game on Friday night… So it’s a week of baseball

Get to the Sunday game if possible.
I saw Joey Cantillo last season in Akron and came away from the game very impressed..

It the CLE bullpen needs a lefty beyond Hentges/ Herrin I would definitely call up Joey if he was healthy at the time.
