I am just going to assume that travel/VISA problems are the reason Francisca hasn't come stateside already... Quit wasting time, and get him to Arizona now!!
Also 20 year old 1st baseman Emilio Taveras had 4 hits on the day - 3 of them homers and 7RBIs out of the 8 hole.

I watched Dion today, he did well, but I don't see him as a big league starter... I feel like he's going to end up like Eli Morgan, and will end up in the pen...

@Tondo @petes999 @MadThinker88 as well...

What is up with Schneeman this season? He literally is hitting better than he did in college right now... He didn't hit at high A or AA at all, now his numbers are slowly making people go, WTF, where did he come from... Does anyone know why he's doing so well, like did he change his swing or something?

Ps. The one minor league announcer had fun saying his name when I was watching it a few weeks back lol

He's an interesting case. I thought he was on the bubble to get cut along with Roller (who's only still there thanks to Valera's injuries), but Schneemann has some credible batted ball data mix that is way out there compared to what he did before. His BABIP is on the high side, but even adjusted, he has enough going for him that as a 26yo there's actual Util upside considering his defensive versatility and power surge. He could be this year's version of Alex Call.

The question mark, does he even have a roster spot in 24 with the big league club or is he going elsewhere. I mean if he continues to put up those numbers, someone will take a flier on him...

Hence why part of me wants to cut Rosario and promote him... I want to see what he can do against big league pitching....

I don't expect Schneemann to be a contributor this year. He's basically the INF version of Fry. Sure, you could promote him, but even if we'd cut Rosario today, he shouldn't get any playing time with our big league club.

As an 2018 draftee, he can stick around for another season before reaching minors FA and I doubt he'd get selected in Rule 5.

He doesn't have a spot or chance unless a couple of INF ahead of him hit the IL.

Breakouts are obviously awesome. Though you'd hope it was someone like a Jake Fox or Isaiah Greene, sometimes it's a Daniel Schneemann.

Despite the current results, he still seems suspect... We'll see what the numbers look like in two months or so. He is also another lefty with some of the worst platoon splits I can recall.
