Minor league games 5/23 thru 5/28

My gut tells me Norris or maybe even Scott are about done in Columbus.
 
Brayan Rocchio - 3-3 3-2B, 1R 3RBI 2BB and an error.
 
So glad I left the Akron game before the start of the 9th inning...
Ugh...

Not a fun game to attend.

Well, with TMac, Civale and Morris returning soon something is gonna have to give. Battenfield, Gaddis and someone else will need to be sent back to Columbus unless there is a trade to create space. Burns should be getting promoted soon too so he'll add to the mix if they can squeeze him in Columbus.

Though the joking aside, Johnathan Rodriguez had a solid night. He had a solid month so far as well, what do you think of him? Pure organizational depth piece or maybe something better?

Ps. Should have hit Lake County today lol

My once a season visit to Canal Park is behind me. No return plans until 2024.

As for Rodriguez: IMHO - org depth at best.

A couple of the at bats were 3 swings & back to the bench..
The at bats looked so bad I felt Amed was putting up better at-bats over the past week...
By JRod's AB in the 8th inning I was pleading for him to take a pitch

Gotcha, so for now, he's just a filler unless he shows more maturity and patience with the bat ..
 
Collins with another bomb tonight, and it was off a LHP. He needs a look, even if just a small one.
 
.....and now he just hit a 2B down the LF line off the LHP.
