Freeman, Arias, and Valera are the guys I’m salivating to see over the next few seasons, Freeman especially.

That bat is ridiculously special.
The RDucks radio guys were openly questioning how long Tyler Freeman would be remaining in Akron this season. It was around the final Freeman AB when he needed the triple for the cycle.

While they admitted to selfishly hoping its all season they are seeing the talent/ ability & recognizing he could advance & succeed at higher levels this year.

Just a matter of a place & a chance. He wont advance to just sit on the bench.

Indians finally have some great bats coming up to go with the pitching

I agree on Freeman. Frankie never put up the offensive numbers that either Tyler or that of Owen Miller for that matter. Jose got his call up when he was 21. Frankie was 22. Why is Tyler Freeman in double A? I get it that the Indians are loaded with middle infielders, but many sources have Freeman as the number 1 Indian prospect.

Where else would you like to see him?

Remember, there was no minor league season last year. After being drafted and playing in AZL in 2017, he played at Mahoning Valley, Lake County and Lynchburg over his age 19 and 20 seasons. They promoted him again to AA this year, where he currently has a grand total of 13 games under his belt.

Pretty obvious where I'd like to see him. In the big picture it probably doesn't matter that he's starting in double A. But he IS the highest rated middle infielder prospect on a team that is loaded with such.

As I pointed out above, Lindor made his debut at 22 and Josie at 21. So being

"too young" doesn't fly.

And in my opinion. they are correct in saying Tyler won't stay in Akron for long As good as the roster is in Columbus for middle infielders, Freeman is the best of the bunch.

It's not--which is why I asked the question.

Great job not answering the question. So, I'm going to assume that you want Freeman on the major league squad.

Lindor and Ramirez each had over 900 AB's at AA/AAA before getting called up. Freeman currently has 59. Kinda tells you everything you need to know, right?

Simply using an age number makes no sense. Kids get drafted at different ages, enter the system at different ages, progress at different speeds, and when they miss an entire year of development because of a pandemic, that's likely something you have to account for as well.

You asked me where I wanted to see him play and I answered you. Pretty damn direct in fact. I also said that him starting in double is not a problem with me at all.

All indications are that he will arrive in 2022 and I'm fine with that.

Sorry, but you're way off base here. Prior to coming into this season, Freeman had never even had an AB at AA. You don't put that kind of rush on someone to the majors. You'd be setting them up to fail, point blank. Guess what? Lindor still played 109 games at AA with 418 ABs and 97 games at AAA with 394 ABs. Jose played 113 games in AA with 482 ABs, and 104 games in AAA with 419 ABs. Freeman has had 13 games at AA with 53 ABs. You might want to dig further next time.

Oh my god, you still haven't answered the question. Where do you want to see him?
