I know Verlander has the name recognition but at 37 yrs old, $40+ million= negative trade value on BTV and 2 decent prospects (Gilbert was #68 on MLB Pipe). And, we got 1 guy back from Tampa for a guy with 2.5 yrs with reasonable price control and a higher WAR this year. Like i said, would have expected a 2nd tier guy back as well.
