Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If we can't generate some lucky turnovers, this will be ugly.

I'm expecting something similar to the Oakland game when Myles was hobbled. Joe Woods makes sure the defense doesn't let anything get behind them for a big play...but we just cannot get off the field on 3rd downs which leads to painfully long drives by the Eagles. And in turn, we lose the time of possession battle and get limited offensive possessions.

I'd usually chastise some of you for using hyperbole in here, but I tend to agree. Assuming we lose on Sunday, if the Browns miss the playoffs this season we'll likely point to this game (and Myles' absence) as the reason.

it’s obvious a huge loss but we are also a substantially better team than Philly without Myles

I think there’s some cautious inner Cleveland fan coming out now. If we can’t beat the Eagles at home without Myles straight up we shouldn’t be in the playoffs anyway. Wentz has been BAD this year and it’s not just because of weapons. He has looked like one of the worst QBs in the league

When will we know if Myles is cleared for the Jacksonville game?

If he can play, we won't know till late in the week. Since he showed symptoms, he has to be 3 days symptom free. Also has to go through cardiac screening for a few days. If he still has symptoms tomorrow, no way he plays.

Honestly the browns need him badly for the two games after jaguars..if they can’t beat the jaguars without him then they don’t deserve the playoffs anyways

The game yesterday would have been stopped no later than midway through the third quarter if Myles was playing against that trash ass O line of the Eagles. Garrett vs. Jason Peters would have been like Clubber Lang vs. Mick, although to be fair I think Mick was younger than Peters.

Exactly. It's not "our defensive line still got pressure so losing Myles wasn't a big deal."

It's "Their offensive line was so poor, Myles's impact would have been amplified"

Dude missed a lot of stats that could've solidified his DPOY campaign.
