Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Every NFL play ends in a car wreck. Just another day for supermen.

Best case scenario
Is it?

I'm concerned. We don't know any details about his injuries. They just keep saying it isn't life-threatening. To me, that sounds like something serious happened and they aren't releasing it to the public yet.

I can't get those broken wrist rumors out of my head.

His agent already said nothing is broken.

So I think we can rely on that.

When I drove drunk off the road many years back an animal was my excuse too — specifically a dear in a forested area.

I’m pretty comfortable ruling out inebriation. He was on his way home having just left the practice facility.

Unless he started pounding booze as soon as he sat down in his car, I highly doubt he was drunk.

I'm a defense attorney who deals with personal injury claims every day. Even the lightest MVAs can cause issues in the back and neck. An accident that involves an overturned vehicle (multiple times)? I'm prepared for the worst. For an athlete as explosive as Myles is, I'm concerned about lingering issues in his back and neck. This could be the start of degenerative changes which could plague him for the rest of his career. I would almost be relieved if it was as simple as a broken bone which will heal with no future issues.

The news about his actual injuries can't come soon enough.

As usual people assume the worst possible outcome. Never change, Browns fans.
