NBA FINALS 2023: Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets

LOL Tatum is on pace to have 22 free throws! He has more than the entire Heat team. Completely fair and just I'm sure.
 
That was pure chaos there at the end. Neither team getting shots they wanted. Good physical defense. This is intense.
 
I don't have a problem Butler being 2-10 in the first half. Second half is when they need him, and hopefully he delivers. He was aggressive, had good looks, he just missed shots he normally makes. That trend shouldn't stick.

I feel 60% good about Heating winning tonight. It won't be easy, Boston won't just go away. Trend should tilt towards Miami though. We shall see.

I hope you're right. If Butler and Bam can step it up in the second half, Heat can do this. Homecourt helps. I'm still super nervous, but cautiously hopeful.
 
I don't agree with Barkley, Butler was 2-10, that's not aggressive? You can't just take bad shots. He just missed shots he normally makes.

Obviously he's got to play better, but I don't have a a big issue with what I saw. He just missed shots he normally should make.

Maybe too many pump fakes though, and needs to be more decisive quicker, and not give the Celtics defense a chance to clamp down on him.

Boston is surrounding a wall around Jimmy. He's got to be decisive a little quicker. I thought he got to the paint, kinda waited, then allowed Boston's defense to clamp down. He can't afford to hesitate, at all, because Boston's defense is hunting for him and trying not to allow him to beat them.

Some little things he could do better. Still didn't hate the looks he got overall.

Yeah they weren't falling for his fakes at all. On one of the shots he did make, it was just a simple line drive to the basket. He might have to simplify and streamline some of his attempts since they're expecting the fakes.
 
That looked like an offensive foul, Brown used his arm.

EDIT: and Spo doesn't miss it, they sure as hell better win this. SO OBVIOUS.
 
There's no way he's going to lose this. That was pretty obvious.
 
The NBA has to be rigged. That is some absolute bullshit.
