Alright, I've tried to limit myself thinking about Game 3.
My vocal cords are still recovering from the experience.
Every fan in that building needs to be out of their seat and transfer that energy the best way they can.
1) Stop the jump outs towards the ball handler at the top of the three point line. How many times does a big man on GSW have to set a weak, "fake" screen only to have the big defender entirely focus on the ball handler? The GSW big then dives to the basket for the easiest layup imaginable. There's no help defense rotation, even though the weak side defender in that situation should be sprinting to the paint (but they're so worried about the corner three point shooter), but there's just no way to recover to it in time. I'm so tired of seeing that. Over and over again. Just be smarter. This is something the Cavs can adjust and control.
2) Leave everything on the court. Hustle and muscle these guys. That worked for the most part in the first half G3 (Kevin Love was all over the court), but inevitably the team slowed down. Try to keep it going.
3) When there's a chance to push in transition (long rebounds off of bricked threes for example), attack the back-peddling defender all the way to the paint.
4) Play the game and play loose.
