NBA Finals Game 5: Cavaliers @ Warriors June 14th, 8:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Again not to make excuses but this is what happens when LeBron doesnt get the calls.

He's handling the ball sooooooo much. That when he attacks, doesnt get the call, it leads to the pace picking up and Golden State scoring.

If the refs call the right calls it slows the game down. Cavs can get set in their defense, etc etc.

I repeat there is NO excuse for someone with the ball so much in his hands and drives to the hoop to not get calls. His usage rate is insane. He should be shooting 16 to 18 fts a game.

I wonder why the league decided that the WARRIORS were the team that needed help...

Curry is the face of the NBA now. He is in a big Market, the wealthiest place in the world. They want them to be the new Bulls of the 90's. To the poster that said they wont be back next year, of course they will, the league wants it.

This isn't little league but if that is your mindset to professional sports more power to you. 51 years of grace, what's another year. I get that in the grand scheme of things sports are utterly meaningless, but it'd be nice to spend my time rooting for a winner not consistently a loser.

Aren't you rooting for a winner right now? We're in a best of three series to win the championship right now. Sure we might not win the ultimate prize but a year ago we had Andrew Bynum and a bunch of scrubs running the team into the ground. We started 19-20 when we had to play Miller and Marion heavy minutes (there's a reason why we aren't running Marion out there) and were able to swing a trade for key players.

I guess it boils down to would you have wanted us to lose in the second round to Chicago or lose in the Finals? Regardless I'm proud of this team in the way that they handled adversity and kept playing hard in the middle of a playoff run without their best players.

Is there any soul music playing in Blatts press conference on in the ABC studio ? Or am I hallucinating ?

Iggy can guard James 1 on 1. Mozgovs day in the sun was over as soon as Kerr showed he was gonna double him.

The playoffs are excruciating. I can't imagine waiting another year to go through the ringer again. What's to guarantee that are stars are healthy NEXT year? Nothing.

I didn't watch but a whole 5 minutes of this game. I couldn't take losing, and having so much energy invested in a loss.

I still have a glimmer of hope, but that's not saying much.

had the game on record and basically watched the first half, then did a slow fast forward of the 2nd half, pausing 3 times. 2 were no calls for lebron, and one was a touch foul for the warriors. I was really hoping i was going to get on the boards and just find that was an aberration... sigh

warriors took 13 more FTs than the cavs did. i know the cavs started to foul intentionally but that still gives the warriors more FTs. In a post i put up on saturday the cavs should be averaging 5-7 more FTs a game just based upon the season averages and the way the two teams have been playing

we have to at least try to hack iggy right? at least in the 4th, when the cavs get tired and the warriors go on their run. curry will win mvp cause he's perfect, but iggy is the reason they're winning this series

I know they are'nt going to call a rigged series and let them WIN a championship on OUR floor?

i accepted on saturday this series is going 7 games. too much money for the NBA not to take it that way

In terms of the officiating, I just hate the inconsistency. It's fine to call a series a certain way, as long as it is the same for both teams. Right now, I don't feel like that is the case.

The amount of grabbing, pushing, shoving and illegal screening they get away with is pretty terrible. Is that the only issue here? No, it's not but they should be in foul trouble every game and they are not.

The side effect to playing small ball is getting beat up inside. If the refs are allowing the smaller team to negate that disadvantage by grabbing, pushing and shoving, then the results are going to continue to be what they are. If the refs are negating our only advantage (size), then we are in big trouble.
