New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My daughter wanted to watch the original Star Trek series this summer. I grew up on that show. I was 3 when it came out, then watched it a few other times, but it's been decades since I watched it. Some of the episodes I remember quite well, but I'm surprised at how many of them I either don't remember at all or only remember a small amount. So I'm having a lot of fun watching it again. I don't think I ever watched the "The Cage" before, only the clips they used for The Menagerie, which were two of the episodes I rememeber well.

She wanted to watch them so we can watch the movies. Only 3 seasons, 79 episodes. Not sure what to do when we get to Generations movie because Star Trek TNG has 178 episodes.

Those are the only two series I watched completely. I never watched DS9 because I didn't think it would be as good since it wasn't a spaceship and somehow then never watched the other series because I hadn't watched that.

It's been on my list for a while, my wife doesn't want to watch it.
I didn’t go into it with high expectations because I haven’t exactly been blown away by Apple shows. I thought the premise sounded cool though and a couple of people at work liked it so my wife and I watched it and we just blew through it because it was so good

Ted Lasso is great.

Prehistoric planet looks awesome. I'm going to start that the next time my grandkids spend the night.

I liked Ted Lasso, I enjoyed See for the most part. Foundation was really disappointing, but I would still watch a season 2. I think Severance blew all of these away.

The Big Conn - a 4 part documentary - was a solid watch. Appalachia flavor, over the top personality at the center of it, and something I never heard about at the time it happened

I thought Foundation looked really pretty and expensive but was boring and had no substance.

It was a herculean effort by Lee Pace to carry that show. Jared Harris was also good, but he was barely in it. Severance in comparison had a shoe string budget and everybody in the show was good including complete unknown Tramell Tillmon.

We own this city... bravo. No one can do it quite like Simon/Pelecanos. That last scene of Jenkins will stay with me for a long time.

Some people got tired of Stranger Things but watching season 4 — that may have been the best finale for mid-season ever.

Antony Starr's performance on The Boys is an all-timer. His monologue at the end of the second episode of season three is incredible.
