NFL Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I like the position but hate the school

Who cares where he went to school. Means nothing now

Brugler has Zinter outside his top-100 and his 10th best OG.

ESPN has Zinter as #122 overall..

PFF has him at #86..

NFL.com has him as their 3rd best guard.

Opinions seem to be varied but most concur that his injury could have hindered his draft grade a bit.. Browns don’t need an immediate starter here so may be more willing to be patient with his health and feel like he’s be a higher pick if healthy..

Don’t love the value at this point but guard was definitely a need..

Don’t know a ton about him. I remember him getting hurt in The Game but I agree. We need guard depth. I’ll take it.

Versatile interior lineman who’s a mauler in the run game. Two time All B1G and a unanimous AA.

Big frame / reach….incredibly smart (he was up for the Academic Heisman). He’s a high floor guy on the interior, that can just do his job.

Last few drafts I’ve loved the 2nd rounders and disagreed with the 3rd, seems to be continuing a trend here.

Zinter seems like a reach value wise, but I can see why we picked him due to positional need.

He’s nearly 6’6. I wonder if he can play tackle in an emergency situation if/when Conklin/jones/wills goes down again.

Zinter with out the injury was probably an early 2nd guy. As long as the medicals check out he’s a great pick.

My dumbass amateur assessment is probably not. While he has a requisite frame, he wins inside with power, technique and anticipation but he’s not an elite athlete.

Maybe he could play in emergency situations but he’s started I think all but one game at guard in college. Seems like just a pure big guard having watched him.
